The small would be a good fit, i think. I have an xl for my caique. Large would’ve worked. Medium would be ok for you as well, as long as they don't mind larger spaces.

Will it work if I fill with water and use as a water bowl?

yes you can put water in these if you want.

What size can work for macaw ?

The biggest here is a large but I would recommend bigger or make one. Seed space seems small for their beak size and the perch is small. I have the Large for my Goffin and it’s spacious for her but wouldn’t recommend for larger Macaw.

Should I buy medium for sun conures and ringnecks?

Medium is good, i have a large for my caique, he sits on the divider and uses it as a nest
