Could I use this to seal a cracked double pane window?

Yes, silicone sealant will seal the glass, but there are issues with this repair. Many newer double pane windows are gas charged, so if not properly repaired will not function as efficiently. Sealing the crack on any double pane window will seal out moisture, but also seal moisture in, so if it is not properly evacuated, you may get condensation between the panes with weather changes.
