AISINAISIN CKT-024 OE Matched Clutch Kit - Compatible with Select Toyota 4Runner, Pickup

Rebuilt my 84 Toyota pickup and replaced the clutch as well. I prefer to keep things OEM as much as possible and so far so good. This clutch kit comes with a new pilot bearing and throw out bearing as well. Install was easy since my motor was out already and it also comes with the install tool (holds the friction disc in place against the flywheel as you position and bolt on the pressure plate).I have several thousand miles on this clutch so far and haven't had any issues yet (knock on wood). This past weekend, I had to drop the damn transmission again just to tighten one of the bolts that holds the cover plate to the block between the flywheel. It backed itself out some and was dragging on the back of the flywheel. Such a big task for such a simple problem. However, I was able to inspect the clutch while I was in there and it still looked brand new. No uneven wear or gouges. Doesn't appear to have any glazing or anything either. Hopefully I won't have to look or think about it for a decade or so.Take care.

perfect OE replacement for toyota trucks with W56 transmission, when purchasing be sure to buy from amazon because other vendors will send the lesser version (CKT-019 still made by aisin) and will work but the bushings in the center of the clutch disc will be rubber as opposed to metal springs like they should be. Make sure to do your homework!

Factory Toyota replacement parts always work great. Smooth release with no chatter like Center Force clutch which I replaced with this for half the price.

I was installing my W56 transmission on a Toyota the transmission shaft didn’t line up properly and it bent/dented and cracked my friction plate so I had to order a new one. The friction plate is made with plastic. One review stated this model number was metal but it’s made with a lot of plastic on the friction plate I personally would invest in a higher quality one. I ordered Aisin model DT-036 and it is built way better. I agree it was my fault the transmission shaft didn’t line up on the first attempt, but I wasn’t expecting the damage I saw when I inspected my clutch.

It's a clutch not much to say, it works.
