Yes it feels cheap. Yes the instructions are horrible. However once you "get the hang of it" it isn't so bad. The problem is in the switching of zone types.. I set up a bunch of window/door sensors and two motions. I wanted the doors/windows to "chime" when the system was not armed, and sound the siren when the system was armed. Pretty basic stuff right? Wrong. Seems you have to key in a long keyboard command to change EACH and EVERY sensor's mode... ie. #6000161# means I just changed sensor #1 to mode #6 (CHIME). And interestingly enough, when I open the door it chimes... when the unit is unarmed. if i arm the unit and open the door, it... Chimes... Now if I enter #6000111# i've just set sensor #1 to mode #1 (normal). When the unit is unarmed and I open the door, nothing happens. If I arm the unit and open the door, it sounds the siren. UUUUGH why so useless and difficult?

I purchased this system for a house that was vacant that I was working on. I needed one that would call me if there was a breakin because it was burglarized recently. I selected this one because it was the cheapest with dial out capability without a land line or wifi or paying for a monitoring service. It worked great. So much so that a neighbor who was helping me with the repairs wanted me to get him one also. I gave it only four stars because instructions are weak, it doesn't tell you which doors or windows are open, the alarm is plugged into the console and the cord is too short. Burglars pulled the meter to kill the power and the alarm system text me that there was a loss of power but they didn't enter the house. I am going to get anothe one for my next house project. Ps. I tested it a lot with all the windows open so the whole neighborhood knew the house was protected with the alarm system.

If you don't want to waste a lot of time then stay away from this product! While it worked it was OK BUT, the screen interface on the device is lousy and hard to navigate. The instruction manual is horrible for trying to figure things out. And, after getting it all set up, the internal day/time stopped working! Their customer service was quick to respond with solutions but, one of them was totally impractical. I got a replacement and the same problem occurred. So, after wasting all that effort, everything was finally returned (thanks to the assistance of Amazon). None the less, this is one of the worst products I've ever encountered.

So far this system has worked very well. The instructions leave a bit to be desired but after inputting a few different options I was able to go through everything I wanted very rapidly. My sensors and remotes where all synced already which was really nice. I do agree that they look a bit dated but I have a 1,100 sq ft home and put sensors on all windows, none had to have the antenna extended. Installing the sim was easy and was instantly recognized. The large siren is extremely loud which is nice because I live in rural area. I really like the key fob feature and combined with the siren you can audibly hear the chirp when you arm and dis arm the system. For the price I have zero complaints.

i am giving this review after several months of usage:1) Clock ( Time ) does not work. it is always wrong ( 5 hours in 48 hours)2) Wireless Smart Socket turns on light on its own.3) WiFi is always out of sync.4) mobile app does not show if remote Wireless Smart Socket light is on. you have to start, stop and start it again5) battery on door sensors only lasts 50 days ( expensive batteries)6) remote key lasted only 4 months100 % unhappy with product

I bought the alarm system two months ago and I wasn't sure to leave a feedback right after I bought it. Now (two months after) I am more than happy with the alarm system. It was very easy to instal and configure. The manual may need to have some minor corrections, but its completely understandable as well the manual have the instructions to arm or disarm the alarm remotely trough SMS. I highly recommend this product. Today I'm buying another alarm set as a gift, that's how much I would recommend this alarm system.

Quit working 30 days after I installed it and warranty from seller is 30 days so was not covered and Factory wants me to send it back to China which will cost more than I paid for unit. A total waste!

So far so good. Yes, the instructions are written in bad English translation, but the alarm does operate solidly, and I like the features. It was not that hard to set up. This is a great alternative to paying a ton of money.
