which is better, yamslam or yahtzee?

Yamslam! The point chips are fun (my son is continually counting his points...and others when he can!). Also, yahtzee only lets you count a certain combination (like 3 of a kind) once but yamslam lets you count as many as you get until no more chips).....

How long does it take to play with two people?

Should take no longer than 10 minutes with two people. Its more of a family type game to get everybody into - Its ideal to have 3-7 players per round.

Does a yamslam have to be on the first roll??

You do not need to have a Yamslam on your first roll, it can be a combination of your 3 rolls.
