AVOID THIS GRILL AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Had this grill for like 35 days.Cooked 4 times on it.=====================================The handle broke with light usage (handle is very flimsy).The “non-stick” coating is starting to bubble up. (See picture)I don’t see any temperature controls on here like I thought there would be.I barely had this thing for a month!!!DO NOT BUY!!!!! Not safe to eat from this if the coating is bubbling up!!!!!

Broke panini press
*UPDATE* exactly a year after my previous review.Still okay, except for the fact that the handle somehow broke where the screw is that attaches the handle to the panini press.So, it doesn’t press anymore-fixing my problem of flipping over each time I pressed it! 😂🤦🏼♀️I can’t get in touch with the seller since there’s no name or phone number anywhere to contact them.Jan.2019I love this panini maker but I hate the fact that when I close it and press down, it wants to flip over.

Money makes the difference in appliances.
It’s not an expensive Panini press, just keep that in mind. I have an expensive one, works beautifully. I bought this for some of the grandkids to make, anything really. There are no settings, seems to get too hot, but hey! They love it, so I’m good. Was going to send back, but my daughter said no, they love it. I feel like, due to the unregulated heat, it dries out the product, be it , bread , rice frittata etc. they still have it-though. Hope it’s not stuck in one of their many cupboards!!

Nice economical panini grill.
My old grill died after quite a few years. It was a more flexible model with removable/reversable plates and adjustable temperature control. However, I pretty much used the grill side. This is much simpler with no temperature adjustment, but, considering the price, it works well. I really don't miss the other features.
