Not Simples
I've seen enough UTube videos to know that bike fitting is complex, with every adjustment affecting every other and small changes making a big difference.I also suspect that when we set out to find a "more comfortable" saddle, we may actually be thinking of a "perfectly comfortable" saddle, an impossible ideal.I've just taken this one for a 90 minute tryout. Noticeably more comfortable than my usual one, slightly wider so more wriggle room. After a while I became more aware of the pressure points but not so sharply as the usual saddle. This remained the case to the end of the ride. It was always possible to sit back on the seat and feel only pressure, not pain. But here's the thing: walking back into the house, I realised my LEGS felt much more achy than usual!Everything affects everything else.I will try some different settings, but I suspect I'll be refitting my usual saddle...Edit 25 Sep 1. No. Wrong. It was the seat height. Adjusted that and after a 2 hr forest ride, I know I could spend all day on this saddle! 5th star duly added.

The best I've come across to date
There is no perfect bike saddle. If you want to be able to power along at 30mph, then you won't manage it on a nice, comfy sit-up-and-beg saddle. This is not exactly cushioned, but it is a far cry from the old Brooke's boiled leather saddles, and is as comfy as a racing saddle is going to get.And yes, the rails are deep, but there are very few bikes which do not permit adjusting the height of the saddle post, so the complaints about this feature suggest a total lack of familiarity with basic bike maintenance. And yes, one's inner thighs will ache for the first few days, as any saddle will utilise muscles in a slightly different way from any other, but it's no game changer. The saddle is a lot more comfortable than my last, and gives every appearance of lasting a decent amount of time. I only restrict the review to 4 stars for the simple reason that no saddle can actually be perfect; there needs must be compromises between comfort and performance, but this strikes the best balance I've seen to date.

Comfortable enough
The seat is not exactly universal. If your bike already has a fitting for the two bars on the bottom of the seat, this seat will be in a very very uncomfortable recline position. It's not like normal seats where the bar and seat are parallel. As a result, the slim front will be pushing into your... You know where.Other than that, it's okay. Nowhere near great, just okay. I expected much more comfort and build quality for the price. I would return mine, but I used it for a few days before I figured out what's wrong.Edit: I wrote above review before finding a way to actually fit it on my bike properly. It's not the intended way, but it works. Now it's actually quite comfortable. I wouldn't say it's the "most comfortable" saddle, but it's okay and I'm happy with it.

Comfort is relative
To be honest your body was never designed to have all its weight resting on the part of you that's in contact with a bike saddle and however comfy a saddle is its never going to be like sitting in your favourite arm chair. I chose the Bikeroo saddle because it looks very much like a saddle I used to have that was excellent. Wide at the back well padded and with a deep cut-out. The saddle that came with my new bike was chosen more for its aesthetic appearance than its comfort and I found it hard and unyielding. Worse after about five miles parts started going numb (you know what I mean gents) and I would have to stop and walk about for 5 mins. I am glad to say that that doesn't happen with the Bikeroo saddle and after 10 miles (the distance of my commute) everything is as it should be. Ok its not like sitting on a bean bag it does start to feel a bit hard after a while but I have never ever found a saddle that didn't. So is it better than the last one? yes. Is it staying on the bike? yes. Am I still looking for a new saddle? no. For the money you could do far worse, time will tell how long its going to last but I am more than pleased with it, nice one Bikeroo :-)

Night and Day from my last seat
Wow this is a great seat....It's a little pricey but i guess for my butt cheeks it was worth it. I didn't realise what a comfortable ride was supposed to feel like ....for awhile i was just accepting that my seat hurt me but it just started to get worse the more i rode and simply decided i had to make the change and well i'm glad I did. Product looks like its well made and I guess time will tell how well the product stands up to time. I'll probably update this in 6 months just to make an even more realistic review because i'm only writing this after just trying this and was so excited about it that i felt i had to make a review to support the good workings of the company. Ok I do hope this review helps.
