As with most park tools, Great quality. It's really worth ot over the no name ones.

Not much to say, Park professional snips. Sharp, precise and the cable doesn't fray. Crip for the ends is amazing, don't have to look for needle nose plyers to crimp the end cap.

I’ve been riding and racing bikes for over fifty years and have always done my own wrenching. I broke down and bought these cable cutters after so many years making do with wire clippers and should have purchased them years ago! Cables cut cleanly without unraveling and placing a cable cap on the cut cable is a one shot deal. No more trying to catch all the loose wires long enough to get the cap on! Buy them your fingers will thank you!

In a nutshell, these work great but cost too much.I bought a set of control cable cutters because ordinary diagonals tend to crush the outer cable housings of bicycle control cables. They cut, but it can take a considerable effort to get the end of the housings round again so the inner cable passes through without binding. That's where these cutters come in. They don't mash the cable housings flat. It saves a lot of time. This tool makes a nice cut on the inner cables too--no fraying. They work very nicely.Only complaint: this tool seems over-priced.

Great item! Feels solid on the hand. Seems like it will last a lifetime. Only gripe is that cutting brake cable housing is never perfect. It’s kind of random and depends on where you end up cutting that will determine how clean of a cut you can get due to the metal coil. Regardless, I still have to go back and clean up the housing for a nice flat finish. I was thinking of the venzo but ultimately decided to just spend a little more for Park. Not too shabby. Don’t think there is a plier tool that will do the job perfectly. Dremel would work well but it gets hot and can melt the housing if no cooling applied.

Adjusted and installed cables multiple times using diagonal cutters and needle nose pliers. Unfortunately the cuts would often fray and the crimps would come loose. With this the cut is perfectly flush with no fraying and the crimps are solid.
