Can these be stacked atop each other in the fridge?

The base does not lock into the lid of the dish below so it would not be stable. Then there is the weight, with up to about 5kg in each dish that would be too much for a glass shelf. Unless of course you have a walk in fridge with heavy duty metal racking, in which case, you wouldn't need to stack them.
