Good quality and work great
I highly recommend this product and all the technicians I know use it. I wish it had a magnetic strap so you could hang it.

Pricey but Worth it.
I work for a major company, as a fire system technician. This was a small investment and could tend to scare potential customers away, but the reality is that it is an integral part of my job, a time saver and well worth the money. Within two minutes you can load test system batteries and accurately know if they can support a system in the event of a power outage.

Well, it seemed nice...
I bought this for its load-reserve emulation, which is what I really need.I tested a small variety of charged and flat SLA, Gel, and flooded batteries. The first couple, the Ah estimate made sense (lower than labeled, old batteries), but subsequently the Ah reading was extremely variable, especially on new auto batteries at the auto-parts store, comparing their professional tester with this. I thought that perhaps I had a bad example, and asked Amazon to exchange, but that was not possible, so returned it. Now reviewing less expensive models.

Good product but costly
The search for a battery tester capable for testing SLA batteries ended on this product. Searched lot of online & offline stores in Dubai but couldn't find anyone. The product is great as per the initial testing but dont know why the product cost this whopping 360 $. The product was purchased for testing SLA batteries up to 7 Ah used in Fire alarm & suppression panels.

Not very accurate, no support and seller will keep a good percentage of your purchase price!!
Very random results, would get very high AH readings. When testing 18AH lead acid battery tester would show 30-40AH. Contacted ACT and got some automated response with no helpful info, no way to leave message. felt like a bogus deal, although my real complaint is with the seller who took $75 of the purchase price when the product was used to test 7 or 8 batts and odiously didn't work correctly and returned like new in original package with in 10 days of purchase. Ended up buying a CellChecker from SDI for only $100 more, very easy and simple to use. I also would have given this no stars butt that doesn't seem to be an option.

Great meter. Does what it suppose to do
Great meter. Does what it suppose to do. It does not require batteries. It gets energized when you test the battery.
