I absolutely love this bench, it has 18 slots for shoes and I'm pretty sure that I have about 40 pairs in it. I have a lot of flat and maybe 1 1/2" heels so I'm sure that's why I can get so many to fit. The lid is nice and cushioned and I sit on it to put my shoes on and it feels sturdy. I am VERY pleased with this purchase!

For the price of the product I thought it would be better quality. The item came broken in various parts and was the wood was unsealed. When requesting a replacement, I received the wrong item. I would not recommend this item.

One of the hinges broke off within 2 weeks. I will update this rating once I find out how to get this fixed.UPDATE 10/31/2017: I am a bit surprised that I am not seeing more issues related to the cheap metal material breaking off the hinge. I am updating my review of this product after receiving a replacement of the entire unit. The hinge broke off AGAIN after about a month of use. Strangely, the unit is not used very often perhaps opened once per day at best. My three star rating of this product still stands. I would pay a hundred dollars more for this product if the hinges wouldn't stop breaking off! Trying to contact the manufacturer of this unit has not been easy in the past.

Well crafted, attractive solution for shoe storage. Easy to assemble. Comfortable to sit on. Readily accommodates 34 pairs of size 10 women's shoes

Really like it, grey color of the fabric is nice, it's very sturdy and I fit 24 pairs of women's shoes size 11 inside. My only concern is that one of the hinges that attaches to the bottom was stripped so each time I open the lid it pulls out from the first time I took it out of the box. Pretty annoying and makes me worried this won't last long and for the price I would have expected better craftsmanship. Will see if I can fix it somehow. Also this took a couple of weeks to arrive, shipping kept being delayed.

It fits a lot of shoes but the product came damaged. 2 of the dividers were broken, causing 4 cubicles to merge into 2 large ones. It's OK, but I would like to be able to get new dividers if possible. The piece also moves quite a bit when you open and close the lid if you have it on hardwood.

I would have given this a 5 star review but we had to replace the screws because they were stripped and too short. Once we did that, the ottoman works great and there is plenty of room for shoes. I haven't filled it up yet because the room that it is going in is being remodeled. However, the shoe pockets are very deep and one could hold two pairs of my size 71/2 sandals. I think probably only one pair of tennis shoes will fit in a pocket though.

These are a great look for any space. They are sturdy and the compartment make storing shoes easier.
