Would it work for a thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail?

I'm not sure how long that is, but I purchased the 60L version for a 14-mile hike each way while also camping onsite for two nights and it held everything I needed. If you're not going to camp out, the 50L will likely suffice.

Is the raincover integrated to the bag by a strap or anything? Ive lost a couple raincovers over the years so now i like mine integrated

I would suggest spending the money on a good pack. You definitely get what you pay for and you’re back and shoulders will thank you.

Hunting question. Would this pack work for packing out an elk/muley? and which one the 75 L or 55 L bag would you go with?

I’ve never been hunting, and I don’t know exactly how it would work with packing out an animal. But I did load this pack with 60lbs of BS and walked 7.5 mi in it regularly. My only gripe is the lack of MOLLE, and sometimes the stitching is iffy
