Compatible Replacement for 1911 Grips Premium Gun Grips Colt 1911 Gov. & Clones Taurus, S&W, Springfield, Rock Island

This is my favorite 1911 grips. I like the looks of different materials for grips. I have bone smooth, bone checkered, wood smooth, wood checkered, aged faux ivory, aged faux stag and now these. I think all these grips give a completely different look. I can’t afford real price for some of these choices. So if you are looking for a great price for a decent faux ivory bark grip, these fit the bill to a T. They are solid, fit and finish is great and installed easily on my full size 1911. No they are not real and if held next to the real McCoy there are noticeable differences for sure. They still fulfill all my requirements. Glad I pulled the pin on these.

These are light weight. They fit perfectly. They look fantastic installed. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for some unique 1911 grips.

These grips were packaged nicely upon arrival and arrived earlier than expected. These grips look great, but as other reviews have mentioned, the left side grip did require a little filing to fit on my Rock Island Armory classic 1911. There is already a notch at the top of the left grip to clear the thumb safety detent spring/pin housing (just below slide, in between slide lock release and thumb safety). Unfortunately, the notch in the grip is not as deep as required. All I did was use a semi course file and filed the notch at the top of the grip deeper... probably took me 10 minutes including time to test fit so I didn't file too far. Besides that, everything else clears and grips fit/feel great! Now I have the look of the "Longmire" 1911.

I ordered these grips for my Ruger 1911. I loved the grips that came on it, but I wanted some stag grips as an alternative pair. I am so pleased. They fit perfectly and look so cool ! They have the best customer service that I have encountered. I had an issue with another set of grips that i ordered for another firearm that was totally my fault and they blew me away with their response and customer care. Other companies could take lessons from Premium ! I highly recommend them.

Something unusual for you 1911... Well made.

Since I didn't want to pay $700+ for real grips I took a chance on these. While they are a resin they do have a nice heft and feel to them. The pattern on both panels are different just like a real set. They have texture to them for a nice grip. Coloring looks real and not painted on. I have them on a stainless 1911 and they look great. I will more then likely buy another set in the future. Ordered them on a Monday and had them Thursday without paying for extra shipping.

Wanted an inexpensive set that would replicate the grips on Sheriff Longmire's 1911. Look good on my Kimber.
