Works Great - Highly recommended!
I had the idea of hanging a bunch of mirrors on my office walls as an art installation, so off to thrift stores I went. Amongst already framed mirrors, I also got two very large (24" x 36" & 36" x 40") frameless mirrors, one thin (<1/8") and the other thick (>1/4"). I also picked up a bunch of thrift shop frames ranging from 8" x 10" to 4" x 6". That's when I ordered the glass cutter.I was very nervous about cutting the mirrors since I had never done it before. I reviewed the amusingly-written instructions included with the glass cutter over and over as I worked up my courage. Once I took the plunge, I was pleased to find out that this glass cutter is amazingly effective. I did the thin mirror first since I thought it would be easier. The thick mirror was actually the easier one. I only had 2-3 cuts (Out of several dozen) that didn't quite break as desired (Wavering line or small bulge). This was TOTALLY My Bad - I got careless during the cut. With my handy-dandy glass cutter I was able to salvage the mis-cut pieces. All in all, I ended up with over 40 small mirrors that look really cute in their mix of secondhand frames on my office walls.I did contact the seller with two questions. One was about the lack of that red padding thing in the clamp used to snap the glass. The other was about the lack of the Union Jack emblem pictured. The seller responded within a few hours. Turns out the red thing was in the baggie with the oil (Teach me to shoot off emails without checking all package contents!). The emblem was just for the ad since the "Made in UK" stamp in the metal was not clearly visible in the photo. This was slightly disappointing as I am an Anglophile and had liked the emblem, but I drew my own mutant version on in permanent marker, so all is well. Point is, the seller responded to my unfounded concerns promptly - I really appreciated it. That and the fact that the glass cutter worked so well that I, a novice to glass cutting, was able to use it so effectively first time out of the gate.I'm totally out of office wall space but have found that I like cutting glass - ESPECIALLY the the part when I *snap* it in two (It's oddly satisfying). Sooo... I'm now eyeing the hall - I think it could probably be brightened up with the addition of few custom-cut mirrors. Off to the thrift shops!

Do not work any better than other cutters
The description and video make it seem like this cutter is a breeze and is capable of very complex cuts given the large handle. In reality the instructions say not to use the handle for mechanical advantage and to grip as close to the wheel as possible in order to apply the correct pressure. But of course then the handle is in the way which defeats the purpose. None of my cuts followed the score lines at all. It did not matter how short or thin the glass was. The oil only made things worse. The wheel would skip instead of make a solid score line.

No better than any other less expensive glass cutter
I bought this as an experiment because I needed a way to cut a large, 1/4" thick mirror into three smaller mirrors. The glass shop was really expensive, so I thought this was worth a try. I was disappointed. It works about as well as the less expensive glass cutters, but definitely could not cut a straight edge on the mirror.Perhaps I am not experienced enough, or the mirror was too big. Whatever, the reason, I was disappointed.

It works!
I had a large mirror that was too big to use in most places. I was able to cut it into usable pieces and made my own frames. Saved a bunch of money compared to buying new mirrors.

Glass scoring tool
Bulky, not easy to use, not worth the money compared to other glass cutters . Wouldn’t recommend.

Bulky and doesn’t feel good in my hand
Cuts well enough but no reservoir so you need to dip by hand. The handles aren’t comfortable to apply the right pressure and the flaps of the pliers part make it difficult to see your cutting line. Not my favourite tool fo cutting glass for mosaics.

Actually does what it says!
Returned a cheaper one after it ruined a pane. This one works every time. It's more expensive but it's brilliant. Don't waste time with inferior, cheaper products.

This always works
This cutter when all else fails will get the job done, it will make cutting awkward hard cuts possible, very good useful life long tool to add to our kit.

Really easy to use, just follow the tutorial and practice on a piece of glass/mirror first.
