I have been looking for a dual temp wine fridge for a few years now and was thrilled to find this one. It is a perfect size (2 cases), really easy to set up, whisper quiet (I do not know why people complain about the noise because it doesn’t make any), and a very compact size that can fit in most homes. For the price I don’t think you can beat it. I highly recommend.

First of all, if you care about noise, don’t make my mistake and order three COMPRESSOR wine fridges in a row. They sound like an air conditioner when they’re cooling. Noisier than an actual modern fridge, like, noisier than the huge one in your kitchen. It’s ridiculous. So, learn from my mistakes: Go with a THERMOELECTRIC wine fridge. This thermoelectric Koolatron 24-bottle fridge does not sound like an air conditioner. The noise is an electric-motor hum rather than an aggressive buzzy racket that reminds you of an air conditioning unit sticking out the window. BUT!!! Updating this review after a few days, I have to say, the Koolatron motor is on ALL THE TIME, it never stops. It's like having a fish tank in the room with a pump that's always running. HUMMMMMMMM. It's not silent, and even calling it "quiet" is a stretch. It's not exactly a soothing noise, either. Do I have a defective unit? I am tempted to order another one of these Koolatrons to compare, which would be my fifth wine fridge in the past couple months. I have gotten to know my friendly UPS driver very well during this stretch and now have his number in my phone. Anyway, one more thing: This saga began when my trusty old Cuisinart wine fridge -- which made a subtle whirring noise when it intermittently turned on, a nice sound, never objectionable -- gave up the ghost, and I was like, "Obviously technology has progressed in the past 10-12 years or however old that thing is, I'll just throw out the Cuisinart and get a superior modern wine fridge!" Man, if I could go back and just take that Cuisinart to a local shop and pay them whatever it took to repair it, I would do it in a heartbeat. It is insanely hard to find a wine fridge on today's market that isn't intrusively noisy. Take it from me, the five-fridge guy. Gah!!!

I've been using this wine cooler for several months now and it's working as expected. I use the dual temp zones for red wine and to keep white wine/cocktail cans cooler. I keep it in the garage and can't hear it unless in the garage. Highly recommend especially given the reasonable price.

Purchased this product in November of 2021, by November of 2024 it is dead, no power, no lights, nothing. I have power going in, but nothing coming out! Contacted Koolatron, they said basically, sorry about your luck, the warranty has expired. Try contacting a service agent to fix it. That costs almost as much as a new one. 3 years is a very short time for a product like this. Don’t waste your money….

Our cooler came on time and was easy to setup. Once it was plugged in initially, I could hear the cooler working. But once it settled down I loaded the wine in, it was very quiet. It's holding the temps very well too.

Easy to set up and quiet-running. The shelves pull out so you could, if you want, take out the bottom two shelves and store an open bottle upright. The shelves could be a little further apart but they are spaced far enough apart so that one of my favorite every-day wines (Meiomi Pinot Noir) which has slightly fatter than normal bottles does fit.

This is a great two zone wine refrigerator! It maintains both zones remarkably well and that really is the most important aspect. It is quiet, and thus far has shown good longevity.
