Can i use these glue strips with any thermal binder? i have a pitney bowes db200, will they work with this binder?

These will work fine. Your machine is the same as a CoverBind 5000 which we sell. Please understand that these glue strips are made to be put into an existing u- shaped cover or empty book.Thye can also be used for book repair. They need to be combined with some thing that has a backing. If you are looking for a substitute for tape binding, then see our Unibind Steelback spines.

Can i have a sample sent?

We'd be glad to put one in an envelope and mail you a sample if Amazon will allow you to give us your address. Before we do that , let me explain how these are to be used. These are basically strips of a hot melt resin designed to work in a temperature range of at least 250F up to 350F. They do not bind pages to each other. They are used to bind pages to a pre-existing backing. A U-shaped folder for instance. They are also used to rebind or repair books where the book block has become separated from the spine. If you have 8.5X11 sheets and covers and want to bind them together, you would do better to use our steelback spines. Thse are metal channels, (like a long row of staples) . They have a black covering , hotmelt inside, and temporary covers that have recessed micro-perforations. After inserting your covers and contents and binding, you simple tear off the temporary covers. If you are thinking of making your own soft u-shaped covers, you might also consider our Coverbind, print on demand covers which are 12 point glossy white, laser printable,( your printer must be able to feed 11" wide). How many strips are in a package?

There are 50 glue strips in a package. I use this product on high school textbooks to repair the spines, and I am very pleased with them. They are easy to use and get the job done. You can cut them with a pair of scissors to make them the size you need.

This company has the best customer service ever! Pam is amazing and want to make sure you understand how the product works. I even talked to the owner. I have not used the product yet but have no doubt it will work in my machine. Make sure you plan to use in a thermal binding machine that uses glue strips. the strips can be cut if needed.
