do I still have to give a rabbit both hay and pellets or just these pellets?

Pellets should be reserved for treats only. They need the hay to keep their teeth healthy. Rabbits teeth grows like finger nails and eating hay wears them down to a safe length.

I have heard that they have changed the formula. Does the 5lb bag still have no wheat, no soy, and no pesticides???

I assume so to me it seems like they just changed the packaging. I know it has no pesticides I didn't realize their was no wheat or soy.

The product is listed as Timothy pellets for rabbits 5 lbs, yet the description says medium Parrot food. Which item is it?

Well that's confusing, I would say if it has a picture of a rabbit, it's rabbit food. I've ordered this many times and never got anything but rabbit food. But you should write/contact them to be sure, and have them fix the typo.
