Saved the best for last. Last coarse needed for my AAS
If you ever wanted to learn how communication works between others, and the principles behind communication, this book will help you start to gain that understanding. I recommend this book to anyone who values communicating with others. Without learning to communicate effectively, your not going to get anywhere in this life really. This was the last class I needed in my Automotive Technology Degree (AAS) after 18 years. I received the 2 year certificate, not degree,18 years ago. I needed a humanities class. I absolutely love cars, and I Don't think of myself as a humanities kind of guy. So, going back to college years later, I decided to complete my degree and take "Interpersonal Communications". I think the instructor at Bellevue College Online is phenomenal, and this book is good. This was the best class I have ever taken and the missing class I should have had 20 years ago, even compared to automotive. They say that every Top CEO is a communication expert. Communication is Key to everything. This book gets 5 stars, the instructor at BC online (L) 10 stars out of 5! Much Respect! Thanks L!

but I actually enjoy reading it
I had to get this book for my communications class, but I actually enjoy reading it! I get bored sometimes, but generally it's a fairly fun read, for a textbook. It is very up to date, with references to recent shows that I watch, like House and White Collar, among others. It has given me insights into just how terrible my communication skills are and how destructive my ways of dealing with conflict can be to my relationships. Hopefully I will be able to take lessons from this book and apply them!

Not Latest Edition, but useful for Class
This was in really good condition considering it has perforated pages. No pages were missing. Barely any underlined text. No highlighting. No other marks. This is the 14th Edition. There are a great deal of class exercises and a Check Your Understanding section at the end of each chapter. Answer Key included for the Check Your Understanding section. This book is the 14th Edition. They are using the 15th edition for this semester. The 15th edition includes a new chapter for a total of 12 chapters. It was added as Chapter 2 and it covers Online Social Media. I think a 16th edition is coming out in 2023. Online resources for textbooks vary based on publisher and type of rental, etc. This book is a good reference book to refer to in future. It is used in many college communication classes.

Good content, low quality.
This is the textbook for my Interpersonal Communications class for college, which is why I purchased it. The content of this book is useful, well-written, and clear. I would recommend it to others, but perhaps in a different binding.I've used this book approximately two days a week, for the last five weeks. I am careful with my books; some say I'm obsessively careful. Regardless of this, my paperback copy of this book is coming unbound. The attached picture is not great, but does show how the pages are separating from each other. I expect any book over a hundred dollars to last, and this one just isn't.

The book is a little flimsy but fine as long as you are not too abusive
The book is a little flimsy but fine as long as you are not too abusive. The text is actually an icredibly insightful read and can help anyone looking to improve there communication skills. I also found this very helpful in applying the skills I learned from this text to enhancing my personal relationships I have with the lady friend >.o

Great textbook for comunication skills
I used this book for a college communications class. There is a lot of information presented in a clear and easy to understand format. The only complaint I have is the type is too light (gray instead of black) so it was hard on my eyes. I recommend this book for use outside the classroom also.

WORST TEXT BOOK IN HISTORY
WORST TEXT BOOK IN HISTORY. Most of the price is for copyrighted material and the actual academic information is free. A $10 reader would suffice.
