The product is removable but it does take some Elbow Grease to remove the adhesive residue on the counter top. Goo be gone will take the sticky off if needed to be removed.

How to apply on top of countertops

Hi, our marble contact paper is very easy to use. Just peel and stick. Please clean up the surface before applying. Then measure the surface and cut the marble wallpaper. Can this be removed easily? Does it leave any residue?

It is removable, it does leave a slight residue but Goo-Be-Gone can remove that easily.

Are these okay around the stoves? I imagine the heat must affect the contact paper.

No , I won’t recommending this type of material to put it near stove. Heat definitely will burn it. I used for a bar table away from stove area. It came out really good but it’s not easy to install it yourself. You need for sure an extra hand to help you.
