DeWALT DXV10P 10 gallon Quiet Poly Wet Dry Vacuum Yellow

This is really well made and super sucker strong! I love the new design with ONE caveat... But first its great, I definitely recommend. LOVE the wheels, the storage bag and the overall look and feel of this vacuum. My only gripe is that the outtake port (the blower port) is kinda flimsy, mine cracked on the first use while I was trying to get the little latch to unlock the hose attachment. It was an easy Gorilla glue fix, but upon inspection of the rest of the vacuum, this part is definitely flimsy comparatively AND in a spot where one would think the design team and engineering would want a stronger part considering the use and wear and tear it will get at an attachment point.Pros: cost, function, design, features, power, noise level.Cons: too weak at critical parts that will get a lot of action and abuse under normal to heavy use.

This is a quiet vacuum. I have a CNC and use a dust deputy between the vacuum and a dust boot. This is quiet enough to talk over. It has plenty of suction. Perfect for my needs. I'll have to wait and see but it sounds solid like it will run for years.

This machine is everything a vacuum should be. I am impressed by how quiet it is compared to other shop vacs I have had. A bonus was that even though this has a bigger hose, the hose from my old shop vac plugged into it so I could use all of the tools that I have collected over the years. Highly recommend.

This unit was purchased to replace a Shop Vac brand unit that was almost 18 years old. The Shop Vac motor finally was dying.This Unit:The Good:Good suction at the wand.Adequate attachments (except one)Easy to use and service- the top removes with 2 latches.Wheels roll freelyThe wand hose rotates at the power head, so no twisting of the hose.Good storage for accessories.You can use with or without filter bag. I use without.The Bad:This is noisy like most Vacs. Don't expect quiet.The hose attachment point protrudes about 6" from the power head and will find your knee and shin bone more than once. Ask me how I know...There is no upholstery brush included. That is shoddy, thus the knock off of one star. I am NOT going to pay an additional $29 for a brush, so I took my old Shop Vac brush (see pic) and used a rubber Fernco coupler on it. It now fits this new vac. It may be ugly, but it works. This SHOULD be an included part for any vac system.Hope this helps.

This thing has great suction, is quiet and seems to be built to last. The 20' power cord, hard rubber easy rolling wheels and built in accessory storage bag are all nice features too. Even though it was a bit pricey at $139 it is well worth the cost compared to all the other wet/drys I checked out.

Overall great. Great suction, very quiet for a vacuum. One star off because the attachment selection is very weak. There should always be a bristled attachment, this vacuum doesn’t come with one.

Just received the 10gal version. Puts together easily but just 1 complaint. One of the plastic tube pieces was split and broken.

This is a great shop vac. It has a 10 gal capacity, which is just about right. It’s large enough to do serious work and small enough to get through doorways, etc. My previous 16 gal shop vac was too cumbersome to use conveniently. The long power cord and rubber strap to hold the hose in place when not in use are very helpful. It has adequate suction too.

Does a good job at what it was built for, sucking up debris. I haven't used it as a wet vac, only for clean up after all kinds of dry dust like drywall, wood and concrete work. Unfortunately, I find it as loud as any other shop vac type vacuum and we have many different ones at my work place. I was hoping that for the substantial extra cost over any other vac that this one was quieter as per the description since I was getting it for working around the house.

I bought this to replace a shop vac unit that just screamed. It is quieter and well made. Large rocker switch and good tool bag for the supplied hose ends on the side. Really pleased with it.

the bag for the attachments is very convenient. Its powerful and considering not noisy at all.
