Delicious Coffee with Freshness Guaranteed!
These Amazon Colombian Coffee Beans are a fantastic find! The medium roast offers a smooth, rich flavor that's perfect for my morning cup. The quality is impressive, and the taste is consistently delicious. The value for money is excellent, especially considering you get two 500g packs instead of a single 1kg bag. This packaging is a big plus because it keeps the beans fresher for longer—no need to worry about them going stale. I can open one pack at a time and enjoy the fresh aroma and taste every time.Overall, great coffee at a great price, with the added benefit of staying fresh longer. Highly recommended!

Freshly roasted coffee beans with a smooth chocolatey flavor!
I decided to change from the regular coffee beans I buy and instead try the Amazon own brand. These came freshly roasted with a delicious smell. I grind these fine at Grind setting 4 on my Delonghi Arte EC9 machine with a 26 second extraction time, and add some water as I don't like coffee too strong. Smooth taste, but sometimes I feel that the beans may lack more stronger flavour.. but I guess that's all you will get at this price point.

Strong
Strong and dark, way stronger than what I've been buying locally. My first 2 cups had me overdosing. Not the most flavorful, if you like a lot of aromatics and subtle notes, but it's strong and smooth. Very good value for money too.

Beter for cafetiere, sour and extra fine ground needed for espresso. Not much flavour
I picked these up as i love espresso and Brazilian origin beans are typically full of flavour and sweetness, with the price of 1kg for less than £10 i decided to give it a try. Unfortunately it was disappointing. These arrive as 2 foil bags, each 500g with the usual safety pressure valve. A quick squeeze on arrival and they smell sharp as though they have a high acidity, but also a hint of chocolate and nut. The best before date is roughly 10 months away.Open the bag and the beans are small in size, noticeably smaller than higher quality beans i've had before. The roast is even and consistent. There was no sign of any charred or excessive crushed beans. The smell is dark chocolate and acidic, almost sour. usually for Brazilian beans i would expect more fruit and chocolate, maybe a hint of nut. But these smell a bit flat. I'll guess either because the beans are small and picked early or they give them a very log shelf life (there's no roasted date). For espresso i used 15g ground on a baratza virtuoso (pre encore) conical grinder. Normally i would have it set to 10 (1/4 fine course) for good quality beans. So i started there and the shot came through very fast and watery and tasted horribly sour. I ground finer to a 7 and improved a bit and became more balanced with a decent crème and consistency. More of the chocolate flavour came through and the sour softened to a slight acidic flavour, with a tiny hint of sweet. But generally not a large amount of flavour. Brewed as a doubleshot on a delonghi dedica. I tried with an extra shot of water and increase decrease in of water temp but there wasn't a noticeable improvement. I also tried a finer grind but the texture of the espresso became more unpleasant than any improvement to flavour. For espresso based coffees with milk it doesn't go very well. When ground the coffee does not tend to clump and appears a bit drier, with less oils than others tried. I also found the puck to be filled higher than normal and attention to weight became more important. This could be a sign of older beans being used or a rapid roast. For cafetiere these beans are far batter suited and good for a morning brew. I used 30g ground to number 30 (3/4 large course) brewed in a 1 pint (500ml) cafetiere/ french press. The flavour is more balanced and makes for a pleasant companion for breakfast. The acidity is less noticeable and complements the milder dark chocolate and nut flavours. With milk it is also much better in this form.Value wise these are not bad. It's less than £10 for 1kg which is rarely seen so naturally these are not gonna be as good as beans that are double the price. On the other hand it means they are less versatile and you will have to find what works for you. For a morning pot these work a treat, or for visitors as a post meal brew. but for espresso i would only have 1 as a pick me up rather than a full flavoured cup to savour and enjoy before wanting something more tasty.Quality is ok, but these are definitely a value bean and might give you an idea of how single origin beans can vary from the generic italian blend in terms of flavour to a degree. They are a large distance from higher quality single source beans and if you do want to experience a single source bean as an experience do yourself a favour and purchase something different. Even a few £ can make a huge difference. As they say you get what you pay for.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

Proper job!
I had my doubts, but I'm a convert. After my last coffee "rebranded" and put the price up, I decided to look for another quality brew. Worked my way through the main brands, but was consistently unimpressed. I finally bit the bullet and bought this product expecting to be disappointed, but found myself pleasantly surprised.I grind these beans just off the finest setting, and use a stove top espresso pot for brewing. It makes a great cuppa! For the price these are really good value for money, which I now have on subscribe and save for an even better price. I also really like that it comes two bags, keeping it as fresh as possible in the cupboard. My only grumble is that the packaging isn't recyclable, but I like to think that in time this would be changed.
