REDKEN Shades Eq Color Gloss for Women Hair Color Irish Creme, 2 Fl Oz

I mixed this shade with 9V in equal parts in an attempt to tone down the ugly golden tones in my color treated blond hair. I wanted a warm neutral outcome not an ashy one and adding in 9NB was the perfect call. I used a clarifying shampoo and a light conditioner and then applied the color mixture to damp hair. I left it on for about 8 minutes the first time, checking in the mirror every two minutes, until I saw that the overly golden tones had disappeared. I then rinsed well and used a moisturizing conditioner. I'm happy to report that my hair came out exactly how I wanted. The ugly golden tones were neutralized and I had a nice warm neutral blond shade. If I had used 9V alone, the outcome would have been far too ashy and cool. The addition of 9NB was the perfect call. And my hair was really soft and shiny, with no damage whatsoever. This is the first time I used Shades EQ so I was understandably nervous. But it was easy to apply and comb through and I watched the effects very closely. I'm hoping it will last a few weeks. I use a sulfate free shampoo and try to wash my hair as little as possible, which keeps my color fresh and bright longer. If you want to get rid of ugly golden tones but don't want an ashy outcome, then I suggest you try 9NB + 9V. I got this recommendation from the hair board on makeupalley.com. Those girls really know their stuff! It was the perfect remedy for me. I highly recommend this shade and this formula. I also recommend Shades EQ in general. My hair is in super great condition too. I will definitely keep using this product.

I ordered Redken Shades eq in Irish Creme 9NB. I emailed the seller to see if expedited shipping was available and it was not necessary because I got my order SO FAST! Really when you have these sellers that get you your product so quickly, it makes it so much harder to deal with the sellers that take 2+weeks. Be-on beauty responded to my request promptly but as I said, had already shipped out the item and I received it like 3 days after ordering.the color was actually a little to light to cover all that I had intended, so I will be ordering again with the same seller, just 2 levels darker. This fades in a couple of weeks. I didn't read it well enough before I bought. Get permanent color for more lasting results.

Redkin Shades EQ will forever be my favorite toner. A little goes a long way. Super depositing and last forever (using color protected shampoo/conditioner of course). Leaves hair silky and shiny for weeks on end! The 9NB is the perfect beigy blonde!

I didn’t notice any difference when I used this hair color. Turns out it expired in January of 2008! If you would like to buy hair color that’s almost expired by a decade then take an hour out of your day to apply it to your hair and process without any noticeable changes in your hair color, this is the product for you! Could be used as a really bad gag gift or to send to your enemies.

Really good product! Didn't last too long , only couple of weeks, but considering I spend couple of hours every day on the beach...People noticed my very course, curly highlight-effected hair was really shiny.I only kept the treatment on for 15 min worried it will darken the highlights but it didn't. Next time - 20-25 min

A lovely very warm cold that I usually toned down a bit with a shot of 9N I am naturally a level seven blonde and tried the 9V But it makes my hair very ashy and is not good against the yellow undertones in my skin
