I think all these official Bulgarian bags are well made. I chose canvas because is was a little less expensive. I like it so much I probably would buy the leather one if I had a do over. This is very fine if you want to go a little cheaper in cost. I will say what every other reviewer has said before. Choose the weight wisely. I am a trained, reasonably strong guy with weights. 37lbs is an sob if you do the exercises like coach wants you to. Don't buy this as a pure strength tool. Lets face it 37lbs is nothing. I can easily curl it 20 times with one hand. Start swinging it around and its another story! This training is meant to be totally dynamic. If you swing a weighted object it takes on 3-4 times the resistance due to gravity and physics. Buy one that is a size down from what you think you'll need and you'll be able to perform the exercises much closer to how they are intended. I've been a pretty committed weight guy for 25 years and this is some of the best and coolest training I've ever done! Very challenging and very fun!

This is an excellent piece of exercise equipment for a dedicated athlete/fitness junkie. I was actually taught how to use one prior to buying one by an experienced Bulgarian martial artist, who personally knows Ivan Ivanov (the man who developed the bag) so I feel very lucky. These can be tricky pieces of equipment to get the hang of, but when you do it’ll revolutionize your workouts.

Great piece of equipment for the discerning fitness enthusiast! Very well made, fast shipping, comes filled. I purchased for rotational and wrestling based throw movements. The stitching, canvas, and vinyl are all very thick. It will most likely last a very long time. I would suggest starting at a lower weight than you think you want... if used in a circuit you will see great effects at a lighter weight.

Heavy bag to go with the others we have. Son is a wrestler and there are a lot of uses for them.

Incredibly well-made and will easily allow you to crush yourself within 10 to 15 minutes. The word of caution is as many other reviewer’s have said go lighter than you think. I went for the 35 pound bag and it feels much heavier than a standard dumbbell or kettle bell when you were using it.

I train BJJ and fight competitively in MMA this helps build grip strength. I weight 188 and this was heavier than expected but really works body parts. I started slow 10 reps swing side to side and following week could swirl it gradually. I'm focusing on wrestling and ground/pound and get feedback from sparing partners I'm just heavier and have more top game control. Only con for the back is the main part isn't leather so won't recommend sweating too much on it shirtless. By far the most versatile functional equipment for combat and building mass I've experienced in Just 2 weeks.
