So far, so good.....
However, I've only had it a week. After unpacking and setting up, I turned it on to the coldest setting and waited 12 hours. Then I placed 16 bottles inside and left on a 4-day vacation. When I returned, the internal temperature was 58. (Unfortunately, there is no thermostat so I had to place one of my own inside.) It seems to run VERY quietly. I hope to be able to give it 5 stars again in 6 months.August 31, 2016 - It's been more than a year since I purchased the cooler and I am pleased to say that it has lived up to the 5 star rating with flying colors. It is so quiet that you can't tell it's running but it maintains a consistent 60 degrees per the reliable thermostat that I placed inside. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to install a built-in thermostat in future versions of this cooler.

Excellent "Wineador"!
My unit delivered several days early and came well packed. Upon inspection; not a scratch! After I cleaned it with dist/water and baking soda, I plugged it in and it was so quiet I thought it wasn't working. Once I listened through an inverted wine glass, I could hear it humming. I haven't tested the cooling range since that's not important for my purpose (cigar humidor) but it does cool. I will be building Spanish Cedar shelves for it but even with the bulky steel shelves, it holds three containers of humidity beads as well as 200 (so far) of my precious sticks! I have cent./air, so even if the cooler fails, all I wanted it for mostly was it's excellent sealing door and it's beauty. I couldn't be happier!

Great price - Terrible product
The cost was so low on this unit, it seemed too good to be true.Turns out that was correct...Good looking, attractive, compact -- and doesn't work. Plugged it in and nothing happened (i.e. - no sound, fan didn't turn, no cooling). Contacted the manufacturer directly and they said they would happily replace it -- as long as I shipped it back at my expense. Thanks to Amazon Prime, I'm just shipping it back and getting a refund.Do NOT waste your time and money on this product.

Does not get cold enough.
This wine "cooler" looks great sitting on the counter top. It's quiet enough to not disturb anyone while the rest of the house is silent. Our biggest disappointment is that even at the coldest setting this "cooler" will not chill the wine below 55°F. While this is acceptable for a red wine, we typically drink lighter white wines which should be served closer to 45°F. In very general, red wines are served at cooler room temperatures and white wines are best served chilled.

Perfect little thing
Perfect little thing to keep your ready to drink wine under the counterExactly what I wanted to keep my ready to drink red wine under a counter in my kitchenPros:Quite (not a sounds)Very prettyperfect for both long and larger short bottle (maybe not so much for fat champagne bottle though)I recommend this if you are looking for something small to go under your counterI am loving it

Average quality, lacking in a few key areas
I've had this for a day and The highest praise I can give is that it wil do what it says it does--keep your wine a consistent temperature for storage. However, a couple of particularly frustrating things I discovered might be worth considering:1) The racks are sized for a more slender cabernet or merlot bottle. Wider bottles, such as pinot noir (of which I have a fair amount) or champagne, will NOT rest solidly in the shelf cradle if you you put them side-by-side on the same shelf. These bottles WILL fit in the same row, but will be pressed against each others' sides, and therefore lifted/pusged off center and not resting securely in the cradle.2) You'll have to by a separate thermometer of some sort to know what temp the thing is actually at. The (manual) temp control knob is simply numbered 1-5 with no indication of how that correlates to actual temperature.3) There is no rack on the bottom "shelf" (floor) of the cooler, so wine rolls around and knocks into each other just laying on the flat surface.4) Rolling would be less of a problem if the legs were more adjustable, as advertised, and I could level it on top of the fridge, where I've placed it. There isn't enough screw length on the feet (especially the front foot under the door hinge, which is much smaller in diameter than the other 3 feet) to raise it more than maybe 1/8"So does it work? At the most basic level, yes. Is it great. Nope. I'm considering returning for a slightly smaller 12-bottle model with a digital control and more reliable shelving.

Cool Wine Cooler
This cooler seems to be what I wanted. The only question is of course reliability. That will remain to be seen. First thing I did was plug it in - and it started right up. This is not always the case with refrigeration units that are shipped. It looks good, - it's quite compact, it has a thermostat. This cooler is for aging wines, not for chilling. It only goes down to 50. The temp for red wine aging is 58 degrees + or - two degrees. So far it's held steady on 58. It has no light, but that's ok for me because I don't go in and out of it. I have a thermometer inside on a permanent basis and every few days I check the temperature (by looking through the glass door) just to make sure nothing is amiss. The bottles fit nicely. There's plenty of length and width for the occasional fat bottle (for syrah, for example). If it continues to run for 5 years, it's perfect.

It was very easy to set up and I loaded a case of ...
The product arrived on Wednesday 07-22-15, it arrived quickly. It was very easy to set up and I loaded a case of red wine from Homestead winery. It took a couple of days to hit 55 degrees but it is my understanding that 55 is perfect for red wine. The unit is very quiet and doesn't seem to create a lot of heat. Only time will tell as for as the durability but I am very please with the size and style of the unit. It didn't include a thermometer but I have a remote device that allows me to keep an eye on the temp on an ongoing basis. The closet where the wine cooler is sitting is normally 80 degrees, I am very pleased with 55 degrees.

Good
Bought it as a gift and it's holding up well as far as I know. Neat looking and is a good size for your home.

Don't buy its 110v and won't work without a transformer
The product is 110v and isn't usable in India and that defeats the purpose of having a sleek thing in the bar..
