I am planning to make candles and I wanted to try out these wood wicks. 🪵 *I haven’t used the product yet but I will come back to my review and update with how well it worked for me*Here’s my thoughts on the initial product:🪵Wood wicks are sturdy and have a decent thickness for a good consistent burn.🪵Along with the 50 wicks, the package includes metal wick holders, stickers to attach the holders to the container that candle will be in, & warning/instructions stickers.🪵For the price of a little over $10, each wood wick with the other materials comes out to $0.20 per wick.I’ve bought wood wick candles in the past and my favorite feature is the crackling noise that the wick produces. It gives you the feeling of being by a campfire and I love it!

I love these wicks, after reading the bad reviews I learned there are A LOT of people out there making candles that shouldn't be...like coffe mug person? Who puts 3 wicks in a coffe mug?? Or the massive candles with 1 wick? What people doing! Anyways I use a 2.5 to 3.5 inch vessel that holds 8 to 10 oz of soy coconut blend wax and have an entire profitable business with these wicks so yes you can make them work for you if you know what you are doing .

I recently purchased the 200 Pcs Thickened Wooden Candle Wicks for my candle-making projects, and I’m really pleased with the overall quality. The wicks are long-lasting, smokeless, and the iron standers make them super easy to use. The included wick stickers and warning labels are a nice touch too, making the whole process smoother and safer.However, I was hoping for a little more of that signature crackling sound you typically get with wooden wicks. While they do crackle a bit, it’s not as pronounced as I expected. If you’re after that satisfying crackling noise, these might not be quite as loud as you’d like. That said, the wicks work great in terms of burn time and stability, so they’re still a solid choice for candle making.Overall, if you’re not too particular about the crackling sound, these wicks are a great buy! Just keep in mind they may not give you that intense crackle some people really love.

The first burn was great. There was crackling, wide pool and consistent burn. The next day I relit same candle and it burned for a few minutes and went out. I tried relighting several times and it would not stay lit. I will keep trying, but with the current result- I cannot sell these candles in good conscience.

The media could not be loaded. Truly great wooden wicks. You have to use them properly and trim to the correct length. Works well as a single or double. Single wick constantly has noticable crackling sound.No need to soak in the oil. When pouring wax in the candle jar, pour it right on the top of the wick. It will soak it properly to guarantee correct burning with the cappilary action . I use palm wax blend. I had to trim wick before every use because the flame was getting too high on this wick.On the video left candle has one wick and right has a double wick. I would recommend to use one. Test it with your own wax. Note that wax type, fragrance oil and dyes will affect the burning. I found out it works great for 2.5"-3" wide jars with palm wax blend.
