I'm pleased with this little pod. It sets up quickly and breaks down quickly, once you learn the technique. I really like that it has a water resistant floor. If I'm trying to stay mostly dry, I don't want to be sitting on a wet surface. The zippers function well with three possible openings to help manage ventilation. There are two short, shock corded poles that criss-cross on the top that work well to push up the top into a dome shape and give a bit more head clearance. The construction seems to be solid. Time will tell. It has a pretty small footprint, so it doesn't take up much space. I find it perfect for one person. Two could fit, I suppose. It would be tight quarters and likely someone would have to have a shoulder against the side of the pod. There are a few minuses, all of which are inherent in anything of this design, not just this Eighteen Tec model. It is not tall enough to stand up in, unless you are really short. Because of the sloping sides, if you open the flaps in any significant rain, the rain will come inside. That can't be helped. If it were windy, I think it would be pretty unstable and need to be staked out at the corners at the minimum and better yet, secured with the included guy lines and stakes. That will increase the footprint significantly. Lastly, don't expect this, or any others, to be as if looking through glass. Thick, flexible plastic is never going to be optically clear. That's a given. And having this folded and stuffed puts all kinds of wrinkles in the plastic on top of that, so it is not a crystal clear view. That can't be helped, I believe, and it seems to me that it is the nature of such an item, regardless of the manufacturer. It will work well for attending kids' games, maybe a rainy parade, a drink on a cold day in the yard, bird watching, and who knows what else. In summary, I find it meets my expectations and will serve its purpose well for me. If you are considering such a pod, I would recommend it.

My wife and I use this tent extensively for our son’s baseball games. My oldest starts in February so we get 3-4 months use of this during the season. Easy and lightweight to put up, minute or two to take down. It keeps us protected from wind and rain. Fits 2 chairs easily with room for a cooler and portable space heater.

I’ve now had a chance to use this both in the spring and the summer. It kept two of us warm during spring soccer in the rain and cold, and I used it for a portable office at a track meet. Worked well for both.

We purchased the tent for a Christmas present, but when we opened it, discovered that there was a break in one of the supports. We contacted the vendor and they replied quickly. We sent a picture of the problem and they shipped out a brand new tent that arrived in perfect condition. The tent is great. It is easy to put up, although a little more difficult to put down. Our main use is to put it on the deck in the winter to get some winter sunshine. It has been enjoyable to use and we like the shade cover on top, which keeps the rain and snow off the top of the tent. There are two cords on each corner to tie to our deck for stability. We bought the 6' one and it is just right for two rocking chairs and a small table. We hope to enjoy lots of time enjoying hot drinks, lunch and sunshine.

The Good….I received my pop-up tent a week before the weather in my area turned cold and wet. I purchased the 6 Person size after reading reviews and I was not disappointed. The tent size is awesome for 2 to 3 people allowing enough roominess for stretching out and using zero gravity lounge chairs to watch outdoor events and sneak in a short snooze : ). The pop-up tent is very versatile. After the outdoor holiday events I am using it in my backyard in my catio so my 4 legged friends can enjoy the Sun even when it’s 40 degrees with a wind chill factor of 22.The Unfortunate….Upon opening the tent and transporting the smell was annoying. The tent did pop up as described but it took 3 people to pull it apart and set it up and the same when taking it down. The clear plastic was so wrinkled due to the shrink-wrap process that it was not very clear. The floor is a lightweight tarp-like material that I can see wear and tear problems down the road.The Conclusion….I would highly recommend the 6-person size for 2-3 people. Take time to air out the tent for at least 2 to 3 days before using. I removed the wrinkles from the clear plastic by inserting a small space heater for several hours. I shored up the flooring by purchasing a dedicated indoor/outdoor carpet. The zipper closures are very easy to use and are of high quality. I enjoy the option to cover the dome with the included cap. I have had my eye on several gazebo-style clear plastic outdoor tents over the last several years and found them cost-prohibitive.This pop-up is reasonably priced, more convenient, and easy to pop up and break down, (after you break it in). I can see endless uses for this tent including a greenhouse, catio, small outdoor projects, and clear night star gazing to name a few.

I am more than satisfied with this product. It was much bigger than expected and so easy to set up. Shipping was fast as I received my order the next day! I will be using this for the colder months to stay warm. The quality of the plastic is thick and seems to be sturdy. I will update with pics once I add some furniture and actually able to use when it’s rainy or snowing to put it to the real test. Overall I am happy and hope to make some great memories in my bubble tent.

I received my order today and I have popped it up and 3 of the poles are broke, I have contacted the seller And they have said they are going to send me a replacement one free of charge, The tent itself is amazing,

Wish it was a little bigger... So I could lay in it.. But will serve its purpose...

This is just perfect for mum & I to keep the draughts off us on chilly days. Well made, so easy to put up. Love the separate groundsheet & once the ropes & pegs are in place, the shelter feels very secure. Not used the sandbags as it’s in a very sheltered part of the garden - maybe for in the winter. Considering the product was shipped from America, it arrived an impressive week early. Absolutely delighted 😃
