I actually got same reception as my ears antenna.

Not worth the money
I got rid of cable and bought a plug-in antenna for my tv. That worked okay so I thought I would "upgrade" and gett his one. I am very disappointed. I rarely have reception on this one at all. It does not pick up channels the other, less expensive, one did. I would recommend good old fashioned rabbit ears over this - at least they work!

DON'T BUY!
Waste of money and time!!!! After trying many times and moving the antenna around multiple locations I still got less than 5 channels, none of which were my local network channels. There is no number for customer service. I email the contact address to make plans for return and the email bounced back. Total rip off!!!! I feel robbed and taken advantage off!
