It works!
We had 2 to 4 inches of rain within days after I repaired my gutters. No leaks. I not only used it to fix the leaks where the gutters connect but there was an 8 inch crack and a quarter inch hole In one of the gutters that I used it for. I used the tape and the liquid solution on the top and bottom side for that. Then I had to paint over it because the solution is black. The directions need to be more explicit for women. I didn’t know which side to put the tape down and I didn’t know whether or not to put the liquid solution down before the tape or after the tape. I did both. I also needed more instruction on whether or not to lay the tape over the brackets that hold the gutters together or to put the tape flush up against it. I should review this again at the end of our rainy season to see if it holds. Overall I was very happy with the product.PS. We had several more days of rain and still I had no leaks.

Easy to install
I looked for this product at Home Depot and could not find it. I needed just a small amount for one leaking crack in my gutter. Worked great. So far it has held up.

Awesome Product
I had an eavestrough leak in the worst spot. We have a walkout house and our deck is on the main floor, and the leak was directly over a chair on our deck. It is a corner angle where a bay window is from an upper bedroom. That corner piece was dripping for days after any rainstorm. I won't lie, it was scary as hell getting up 14 feet on the ladder and actually being 3 stories up, due to the walkout below. I first tried what everyone does, tube caulking, and that didn't stop the leak. I really didn't want to call an eavestrough company for one leak, but didn't know what to do. If this leak was at a corner of the house and dripped slowly on the grass, I wouldn't be writing this review, but dripping on our heads was maddening. So I searched the Internet and read the reviews and watched the videos about Liquid Rubber, and decided to try it. I wasn't relishing the idea of getting back up there and spending a long time scraping off the old caulking and silicone, but had no choice. I actually had to make two trips to scrape what I could off, and cut some away with a sharp chisel. The Windex after really helped clean it too. I then precut the tape and gave a few inches to spare, but took a pair of scissors up with me. However, the only downside to this product was there is nothing in the instructions on how to get to the sticky side of the tape. One side is grey rubber and the other side is cloth. I didn't want to rip it apart. I seriously wondered if the liquid rubber was the adhesive and the cloth part adhered to it. Just when that was what I was going to do, I spotted a tiny clear film and was able to peel it off. How maddening.Anyway, once the tape issue was resolved, everything worked like a charm. I overlapped the tape over the joint of the inside of the eavestrough. I then placed one thick coat over the tape, and let it dry for a day, and prayed for no rain. I then got back up the second day and applied a second thick coat of the liquid rubber. I can proudly say this product is perfect. No leak, and I am confident that it will last for years. (I hope so anyway). Rob W.

Works great!
Purchased this kit for my leaky corners of my eaves/gutters. It comes with a jar of the liquid rubber, smells like tar, two small foam brushes and a long 2" x 5 foot grey strip, looks like a "Tar patch". I recently moved and had to take care of the corners and angled joints of my eaves/gutters that looked like they have been leaking for years. So I read up on this "liquid rubber" product and purchased the Kit. Glad I did...it was easy to put on, I don't know why other reviews might say there was an issue with the clear plastic you have to take off OR any other issues. This was an easy product to work with but very sticky. it's a very simple process and goes on with ease. Make sure you have a day or two of NO rain to help dry the "strips and liquid rubber product" and you should be fine. I put two coats of the liquid rubber on as directed, it does dry quickly. I was left with extra liquid rubber so I ordered more of the grey strips, this time 2" x 15 feet so I can finish the rest of my gutters/eaves. The KIT ONLY gives you 5 feet of strip/product to work with but it gives you the opportunity to see if it works in small areas or fix small leaks and it does. I wanted to make sure this product worked before I covered my gutters/eaves with another product for leaves and pine needles. This product was tested the past week or so with all the rain we got and it worked great, NO leaks. I would order this product again. The strips I found are only in grey but the liquid rubber is black. I would recommend this product.

Gutter repair (and company) NOT holding up...
after 2 light rains, no leaks detected. Not sure how it'll hold up to sunlight and winter cold. The application was pretty easy. But ran out of seam tape (5feet) after just doing two gutter corners. Also instructions could have a been a bit more clearer on how long to wait in between applying coats of sealant. Customer service on website said there is no need to wait and apply as soon as first coat is dried. Seam tape is very sticky and impossible to handle with gloved hands. Will wait for long term results before getting more to do the other corners. Once applied on the gutter, this stuff looks like it'd be impossible to remove unless the material degrades.1 year update:All the gutters corners patched with this product held up after a year. Highly recommend.2nd Year update:All the patches now have small leaks.Contacted company to inquire about warranty. They said it should last 5-10 years, but warrant does not cover this issue. And they said I can buy some more to patch the leak. Seriously inadequate.

Great product! Buy it now!
Used this on 2 corners and so far so good. Make sure you clean the gutter first as best as possible for the best result. I even used soap and water to clean it as best as possible and then Windex to wipe it down one more time.______Writing more to this review 1 year later after, fall and halfway through winter ...The product is standing the elements of snow, ice, and below zero temperatures and zero drips. Great in these tough Canadian winters! Don't waste money on gutter silicone from Home Depot. Spend a few more dollars for this and it will last!______Review again after winter and now into spring. Gutters are great and zero leaks. I stand behind this product!

no use to me
I patched followed the instruction, I covered all leak possible up and down side. Still leaking. The patch is very sticky hard to cut with scissors and when you patching the area in corner the patching will be warped up easily and hard to extend it in order to cover the area in flat manner. If you need to redo that, its very hard to take off it and to me only choice is to patch over it again. And in my case, the leak remains. Disappointed product.
