PHILIPSHue 2-Pack White A19 Dimmable Smart Bulb Starter Kit with Hub (Voice Compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple Homekit and Google Home), 9.5W

I was hesitant to get the hub but after getting frustrated over the bluetooth instability, I finally caved and got the hub. In simple terms: It just works. Setting up the hub was simple and quick. Getting the app connected to our smart hub at home was also easy. We had one existing bulb to begin with, and the hub already knew about the 2 that come with the box. At the time, this was only $5 dollars more than the hub alone, so no brainer to get the two bulbs that come with it.Note: The two bulbs that come with this are only dimmable on a single color. They do NOT change to the various different colors of white lights. That's something I overlooked so be aware of that in case you did want that feature.

Phillips Hue is great with Alexa but it’s even better and more stable with the Phillips Bridge. If you are having trouble with the connection between Alexa and Hue than get the bridge. I found it to be a huge difference.

These work wonderfully, who devices are incredibly consistent and durable and beautiful.The only reason it’s not 5 stars is I wish these things cost less money. There are companies out there that do it cheaper, and honestly had I not started with you, I probably still wouldn’t have it mix throughout my system. But because I do, I’m forced to continue getting devices like this. That complaint is as much to do with Phillips as it is with this costing too much.

When it comes to to Philips Hue they just work.

I replaced my senglend bulds with phillps hue bulds. Senglen customer service is non existence. Hue is more expensive but well worth it. The app works great and add to the app is quick and easy. I also noticed when I do loose my wifi. The bulbs reconnect as soon as the wifi comes back on. Buy phillps over senglend!

Este set lo compré mas que nada para adquirir el Hue Bridge ya que traia adicionalmente dos focos y la diferencia en precio con el Hue Bridge solo era muy poca. Yo esperaba que los focos pudieran cambiar entre luz cálida y luz blanca pero desafortunadamente para mi son solo luz cálida (no cambian de color solo cambian de intensidad) la cual hace que las habitaciones luscan más oscuras.
