Q: The circuit I can use is 220V w/12-3 wire. Is this acceptable for this unit?

The plug is a 3 prong which uses 2 hots with one ground. 12 gauge wire is code for 20 amp service in most areas I’m aware of but long length runs may require 10 gauge

Q: Cord doesn't reach my outlet. Can I use an extension cord and if so, what kind? cord

this is a 240V direct wired heater. It does not plug into a outlet

Q: Can this be used with a 240 50A welding outlet
