Is this shirt too tight ?

Yes. I ordered XL and it fit very tight, almost as small as a medium.

This shirt is not the super soft and stretchy material. It’s a little stiffer cotton, true to size with not a ton of stretch.

All depends. My son is large for his age so it was rather loose fitting for him. We ordered a men's small and hes 8 years old. I dont really know if it is slim fitting or not. Sorry :(
