1st impressions are two thumbs up.
1st impressions. The plethora of useful tools in this kit make it a great choice for any amateur Do-it-Yourselfer. At 1st glance they appear to be very well designed and made. They are fairly heavy duty so there was no skimping on the amount materials used. The Rubberized grips feel good in the hand and especially when you're clamping down on something. They're not hard-core professional like a set of Snap-On tools, but there are a great value at this price. In contrast, Workpro missed a great opportunity to make the carrying bag more than just mediocre. The eight miniature screw drivers are a welcome addition. I recommend keeping them in Ziploc bags so they don't get lost in the shuffle (see Pic.) The six larger screw drivers are in both long and stubby handles. Of concern is the fact that the tips appeared to be of fairly soft metal. I used one of the Philips head only briefly but the picture below reveals some surprising wear and tear on the tip. You can feel with your finger that it has become rough. This may be indicative of the other pieces. Only time will tell. In contrast, the interchangeable Phillips heads show no wear at all and they worked beautifully. The razor knife is well designed and executed. I have seen none of better. The blade retracts fully and smoothly and the handle stores the spare blades included. The 25' tape measure is surprisingly stout and comparable to Stanley. The two retractable hex wrench sets cover the bases, but are a bit stiff to extend and retract initially, but are adjustable. The wire stripper worked flawlessly but will insult your intelligence by warning you not to use it on "Live Circuits". I'll try and remember that. The needle nose and heavy duty pliers are terrific. The scissors should be heavier duty for a tool collection like this. They seem out of place.I don't work on cars so the set of socket wrenches will only be used sparingly. They seem very well made but that is not my forte. I removed these from the bag and put them in a couple of cigar boxes for storage. This helps with the clutter in the center of the bag with so many tools. A comparable set of wrenches would cost about $45. So if you want wrenches this is a good deal. The problem is the tool bag that is just not design to hold this kind of a set. The bag is jumbled up enough without them.Workpro knows how to design tools but not tool bags. There are internal and external pouches to help organize the tools but they are all too shallow to hold anything of consequence. All they had to do was make them deeper. A horribly missed opportunity. (Pic.). Because of this I have made an investment into a Dewalt tool bag. As you can see it has great deep pockets and accommodates everything. No more fishing around in the central compartment because now I can see all the way to the bottom of the bag! I got the smaller of two they offer. DG5542 Vs DG5543In summary this is a great collection for the amateur like I have become. I highly recommended it for that purpose. To buy individual pieces would cost quite a bit more. The softness of the Philips head has me concerned. Hopefully that kind of deficiency won't show up in the other tools. The sad fact is that these tools are made in China. It's hard to find a kit this many tools and at this price that isn't. We simply don't have the option of buying American unless you want to create your own toolkit and by individual American tools. You'll pay double. Take a look at the documentary called "Death by China" to understand why I bother to bring this up. But don't feel too guilty about buying this kit. Hopefully our current administration can help fix these inequities.

Seriously way higher quality than I expected!
I'm a diesel mechanic and heavy duty truck owner so I have a full set of professional tools that I work on vehicles with in my shop, as well as a lot of carpentry and DIY tools in my garage but I needed to get a tool kit for my wife so she'd stop asking me to bring tools inside for her to lose all the time. I bought her a different set on Amazon that looked pretty decent in the photos but had to return it because all the tools be pretty junky.I ended up buying a WorkPro tool bag earlier in the month to hold my extra drill batteries in the winter so I could bring them inside so they don't freeze. And I thought the quality of the tool bag I bought was super good so I decided to go out on a limb and buy a whole tool kit for them to replace the one for my wife that I returned because I figured worsed comes to worse even if the tools weren't great the bag would at least be solid and I could slowly add better tools to it for her as time went on.To make a long story short I was very surprised and also extremely happy when I found out that these tools are actually high quality, fully functional tools that will probably last a lifetime as long as they aren't lost. For a simple household kit they absolutely do a fantastic job and I don't feel like any of the tools are especially cheap or poorly made. I would change the design of the plastic box that holds the bits but even that isn't horrible for what it is. I would also think about changing the design that holds all the sockets because it will probably inevitably break because it is made of plastic and then you'll have to find something to put all your sockets into. However these really aren't the biggest deal in the world and they're totally worth the trade off for the tools themselves being great quality. Here are a couple pictures of the things that I assumed when I purchased we're going to be bad but ended up far exceeding my expectations! The plastic and rubber parts of the tools are very solid and well made, also I'm very happy with the hammer as it is a full-sized finish hammer and a lot of these kits contain what are basically children's play hammers. The box cutter is also pretty cool I like how it is hinged at the bottom and spring loaded when you open it which makes opening it up to swap out the razor blades super simple. It also has a magnet under the razor blade holder so all your extra razor blades don't rattle around in the inside while you use it and don't fall out if you accidentally open it the wrong way. I've never seen that on a box cutter before and I'm thinking about stealing it out of my wife's kit and swapping it out with my normal one while she isn't paying attention.Anyways I don't normally write reviews but I figured this one deserved a five star from me, the bag is great, the tools are great. And there's plenty of extra room so you can add your own necessities to it without overstuffing it.

GREAT QUALITY TOOL SET!!!
Great set of tools, look to be a great variety and of high quality. Perfect for a grab and go bag. Not a big fan of hex folders but that is an easy change. Also missing channelocks and vise grips, once again easy to pick up and add to the bag. I also added a set of ratcheting wrenches, not needed for some but im a big fan of them. No tool set is 100% perfect but this is a great foundation to build off of and great as a second set for a car or for the home, or for a young aspiring technician. Bag is of high quality as well. Set stock weight is around 25 lbs with my additions it rings in around 37 lbs. Bag doesnt seem to be strained in any way.

A pretty good tool kit to take in the car or boat or second home, etc.
Now some of us compete on the Craftsman tool chests we have with every conceivable tool known to humans. Some of us even know how to use most of those. But you are not going to put your best tools in a bag or bucket and just haul them around and get dirty rusty and lost. Are you? You too? So I needed an all in one tool kit for on the go. This has just about everything you need and I have to admit better quality than I expected. I've used about 2/3 of the tools already and nothing has broken. I added some specialized tools for doing electrical work and an old power drill and now its good times on the go. Recommend this for on the go use, or your first tool kit(I'm looking at you Millennials) or yes you can gift it to a kid to work on their ride. Has both metric and US (or SAE) so dont sweat it. Oh, add a set of tamper resistant driver tools because you will lose your mind otherwise. And a cheap set of drills.
