Where do i but the adapters to connect the hose?

Lowes, Home Depot or ACE Hardware stores have them. Or you can unscrew the adapter from the sprinkler and screw the sprinkler to your hose.

Why is the connector on the sprinkler a male connector since it should be a female connector to attach to a hose?

It is a female connector. What you see in the picture is an attachment for an easy type connection that pops into a connector on the hose. You don’t have to use it.

What type of hose suit this sprinkler? Does this leak?

Any kind of garden hose. Larger the hose the more water it will spray and faster.

Is this lead and/or BPA free?

This is all plastic so I would assume no lead is in it.

Don't underestimate this sprinkler! Worth it!

When this first came and I opened the box, I thought to myself "well this is going to have to go back" it was so tiny and looked cheap and flimsy. Decided to hook it up to the hose to see and it sure puts out much more water than I thought and it covers distance more than another other sprinkler I have that I spent more $$ on. I am so glad I tried it and it works perfectly under our tree to cover all the grass vs the oscillating sprinkler used before was not covering any grass under the tree.

OMG!!! Amazing water coverage.

OMG!!! This will water your entire yard!!!! I'm shocked on how much coverage this offers. Turned the water up as I normally would do and I got wet right away. DOH! I'm going to order a 2nd one just so I have one as a backup. AMAZING and you will not be disappointed. Note: Looks somewhat cheap and the quick connect did not work with my quick connect existing setup but that was easily resolve by just using my attachment instead of the one supplied.

Not bad, not great, average is all.

I can’t say that I hate it. It’s cheap, it barely spins at all no matter the amount of water we have going into it. Doesn’t spin like the cover picture makes you think. It’s cheap, plastic, and what you would expect out of the product that is the cheapest by far. Again, don’t hate it, don’t love it, just mediocre.
