Fits perfectly in the kitchen sink drain, where the original stopper/strainer would be inserted. This strainer is the same level as the sink bottom when installed, and does not trap debris around the outer rim. When you are ready to dump it, it lifts out with no hassle, and you just dump it out in the trash. I like it so well that I bought a spare set to have on hand for future use. My first set lasted several years, but when I needed replacements, I struggled to find them at any retail outlet. When I finally found them, and got the manufacturer name, I immediately found them on Amazon and ordered spares. Highly recommended - the best I have ever found anywhere.

Love it! So easy to clear it, just a quick tap and it’s empty. No trying to dig particles out of tiny meter holes
