100% silicone is polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), and other additives are present in extremely small amounts, all of which are of medical-grade quality. These normal amounts will not cause any harm to the human body and will not interfere with the endocrine system. Since the product requires minimal usage, it is absolutely safe.

Will it work for old stretch marks?

I am using the product for a surgical scar, not stretch marks. I can’t honestly say if it will work for that. It is helping my scar through.

How does this work for hypertrophic scars?

I have a small amount of hypotrophic area on my scar and I really massage this product on the clean dry scar and try to massage this deep. It feels as if it’s working. I’ve been using it on a fresh big scar for 31/2 months.
