Would this prevent tv glare if positioned between a window and TV?

One of my windows is right next to my TV so I can say the sheer curtains by themselves won’t really help with the glare because they are so sheer. I have a heavier set of curtains over the sheers and open those when I want more sunlight in the room.

Should I choose the dimension of one panel or for 2 panels?
