Roots & WingsShampoo - Sweet Orange & Rose Geranium - 250ml

I have been searching for a balancing organic shampoo that would work for very fine, light hair without weighing it down or making it seem greasy a day later. Or without making my hair feel like it had been washed with a bar of soap and all tangled and "waxy" feeling. I also needed something that would be kind to my sensitive, dry scalp.I have been using this shampoo for a couple of weeks now and I am very pleased to say that this shampoo has proved to be exactly what I was looking for!It has a beautiful smell which isn't overwhelming. Its subtle and fresh, the orange notes coming through as soon as the lather appears on your head. It lathers up extremely well with a small amount and the lather has a wonderful silky feel to it. Its easy to rinse out. Despite my initial worries that my hair felt a bit "dry" and tangled once out of the shower, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was smooth and easy to comb whilst still damp. No conditioner needed, either, which is a plus in my view.I always let my hair dry naturally and I was very impressed once my hair had dried how smooth and soft it was. It looked and felt shiny and light, not the usual "slightly greasy" look I seem to get with some other brands I've tried. My hair is fantastic to brush when fully dried and seems to maintain the shiny "freshly washed" look for a couple of days. Dry scalp doesn't seem to be a problem and so far so good.The bottle itself seemed a bit small when I first saw it, however having seen how little shampoo I actually need to use, I'm no longer concerned about how much I was getting for the cost. Its a square-shaped bottle which sits nicely in the corner of the bath and is easy to pick up, equally easy to pack for a weekend away without decanting it into something smaller.I'm extremely happy with this shampoo and will continue to buy it from now!**REVIEW UPDATE** - Its May, and I'm STILL using up what's left of my first purchase of this shampoo (I wash my hair every other day and use small amounts the size of a coin). Excellent value for money. My hair still feels / smells great and I will definitely be ordering more of this.

I find this to be a wonderful shampoo and have been using it for ages. I alternate with the other Roots and Wings 'flavour' - Coconut and Jojoba.The Sweet Orange formula is light, cleans my hair without weighing it down (which a lot of shampoos do) and doesn't dry my hair out. It also smells fantastic. I have fine, straight hair that is easily made limp by additives in shampoo. Its not that easy to find affordable shampoos that clean effectively without leaving a residue - which is why I love this one.

I can't use any product that has a chemical perfume so I am very happy to find a shampoo with a lovely smell and is all natural so I Can use it without any side effect...chemicals trigger my Asthma...As well as smelling delicious this shampoo really cleans my hair which is normal to greasy.My hair always feels clean and soft after washing with this product and I use this alternating with one other Brand and have done so for years.

Love the fragrance and gentleness to hair. Used when having plastering done to home which really dries out the skin and hair. It would restore my hair along with the conditioner. If was too bad, then deep conditioned with their Coconut Conditioner which I can only use as an occasional deep hydrating treatment as leaves hair too limp for every use. I would even buy a shower gel in this fragrance if offered.

Very nice shampoo once you get used to it. Don't get put off if at first your hair don't feel like their washed properly or you are losing them. This is temporarily - may be something in the traditional shampoos that makes such reaction once you stop using them. Once I have passed this stage after a few washes, it has been washing my hair nicely and no more dandruff.
