The detail on this Dachshund sculpture is very decorative and detailed so much so that it's best showcased on a table and under a light. Definitely a statement piece!

Arrived really quickly, well packaged and in perfect condition.Well painted and excellent attention to detail.I already have a couple of Steampunk skulls but this was an especially apt addition to my small collection as I also have a real Dacshund. A Christmas treat to myself.If you're into either Dacshunds or Steampunk (or both like me) then this is a "must have".... highly recommended

What I did like is the style of the dachshund. My pa was an engineer working with metal who rescued a dachshund from a farmer who would have drowned the little rant of the litter puppy. Suzy became our family dog for a very long time and lived a happy life. She was so much my pa's dog. That object reminds me of my past memories. Although it is not in metal, it symbolises it very well. It has a good consistency to it, some weight. The purpose apart from being a partly sentimental decoration was to fill a gap between two house plants which my cats were chewing upon. It does the trick.
