has this design now been outsourced for chinese manufacturing? Is the quality less then when he first started selling & making them himself?

Best laugh I have had today. No, I don't outsource the building of the bee vacuums. I still build them myself in my shop. I have sold a number of them but manufacturing would require selling hundreds a month to justify building them in quantities. There are a number of bee keepers out there doing removals but not that many.

What's the diameter of the hose?

The hose itself is 1 1/2" i.d. but has an adaptor where it attaches to the catch box that is 2 1/4"

I have a 750 att inverter. will that be enough to run this product? if not, what size do i need. thanks

I believe the motor is a 1 3/4 hp unit. I usually figure on 750 watts per hp so a 1500 watt inverter would be the minimum I would consider.
