WORKS GREAT, CUT A GRASSHOPPER IN HALF TODAY......that is about all they are good for. The quality on the stainless steel cutting edge is very poor. The picture below shows the cutting blade......these are junk. They looked good in the picture, and were fine for 30 days or so, then the blades dulled and shredded on the edge.............avoid this product

These babies do the job. Fit my hand perfectly. Cut just as good at the end of the day as they did 10 minutes in! If they continue to hold an edge like they do, they very well may be the last pruners I EVER buy!! Thank you...Finally a well made product...by a craftsman!

Works well, stays sharp! For the money it is a good tool, I bought a leather holster for it, as it is hard to find if you lay it down. Might be a good idea to paint it orange after you get it. Way better than the junk they sell at Lowes and Home Depot.Update: I have used my shears for many hours of solid cutting (I volunteer at a botanical garden) they are still perfectly sharp as when I got them. The shaft that holds the lock in slides out of the holes and my lock clip is lost. The spring is starting to fall out and one needs to place close attention. Manufacturer needs to improve these features.

I only received my pruning sheers a few days ago and already am in love them. Powerful, and extremely well made, an avid gardener like myself could not be happier. The price is very reasonable for the quality.

This pruning shear is really the last I will buy. The edges are sharp, the wood is great quality, and wonderful design. I would buy again (but won't need to)!

Best damn Pruners I have ever used. I have 3 pair now and will buy 2 more for my daughter and a friend. They will love them too. I have a big collection of plants and I am always pruning. I also start a lot of small trees from cuttings I take and these handle all I need. Great design, my hands don't get as tired as spring is plenty strong but easy to cut with. Thanks to whoever designed these.

Shears stay stuck in closed position after each cut.

I thought I would give these a try after checking out the manufacturer's website. They say they are a Canadian startup company but these pruners are made in China. The fit and finish is very poor. The handles aren't even close to lining up. They do fit my large hand well though and shouldn't rust because of their stainless steel construction. I'm sure they will do the job because I won't use them a lot but they are a poor quality tool that I don't recommend.

I bought it even though there were some comments about the poor workmanship and materials, because there were some great comments.The package arrived on time, as I was taking the scissor out the spring that keeps it open came off. I snipped it back. I am thinking if I should return it or give it a try. The extreme reviews I dictate that there is a major lack of quality control at this shop.

These pruners are close to the best I have ever had. I would give it a 5 rating but already I have had to go into brush I have cut and look for the spring. Since it fell out the second time I used them, I can foresee the time when I lose the spring. The clip holding them together when not in use was drilled off centre and the end of the wood handle, closest to the pruning knives cracked. Otherwise, they are great.

These pruners are the perfect size. Have managed to prune stems up to 3/4" easily. A little cleaning up with soap and water and they look and work like new. Have done a lot of pruning so far and the blades is still perfect.

Overall quality good, but tab to lock pruners closed when not using fell off in the first hour. Pin was lost in the grass, so a little disappointing they won’t lock now.

Excellent Value for the money. I would rank them as medium duty capable.
