Nice, solid boards
These boards worked really well for me. My first project got messed up and I had to desolder a number of pads using braid. I was expecting the pads to come off or other issues, but zero problems from the repeated heating. Really pleased with these boards. Heartily recommend them.Actually, has anyone found a good enclosure for these boards?

Need to use flux on these!
Holes are not pre-tinned. First board turned out pretty nasty. Added a light layer of flux with a small brush before soldering the next one and it came out perfect. Good value board as long as you do it right.

Work great for me
I have never had a pad lift off one of these while soldering. I also have no trouble with the size of the holes or getting solder to stick. In fact, when I have to put 2 jumpers in one hole, I have to choose thinner lead cutoffs to fit them into one hole. I actually prefer these to the other stripboards that have a solid copper strip exposed because the mask over the trace keeps things cleaner and neater. Not sure if this product has changed or improved but I did not have any experiences like the negative reviews here and I have used 30+ of these boards so far. I used to always blade the tracks on everything I built before firing it up but i don't bother with these anymore because I have never had a solder bridge between strips.

Good board.
My electronics projects are looking a hell of a lot neater these days! Good board.

they work
They come apart a bit easy. But they do work if you are careful.

OK proto board
Would have been much better if the board were more "solderable" -- e.g. tin or solder plated.

Works as it should
Used the stripboard to make a cleaner install of led lighting on a motorcycle. Cut down to 4 strips and added a little wire with the 4 pin plugs to eliminate the 4 splitter cables on the bike. Encased in silicone and is working well. Was easy to solder to

Not right ....
Holes are too big for anything other than heavy resistor leads or something. This means you have to pile on the solder to close it up all the way around whatever lead you're soldering ...in very little space. That excess heat de-bonds the copper easily. Solder really doesn't wick to the copper ... even after thorough cleaning first. With the large holes and small pad area, there's not that much copper to solder to. I like this kind of board, but, will try some one else's next time.
