Algae Mask. Nourishing and firming mask from Blue Lagoon Iceland

Love this product. My skin feels so wonderful.

I have been using this product almost a year now. At the start I used it every other week along with the silica mask but have found this mask more effective/better for my dry, fair, and aging skin. My skin is softer, pores smaller (blackheads no more), fine lines diminished after use. A youthful glow. The silica mask, by comparasion, was a little drying on my skin but it did exfoliate well so is a useful product occasionally.Regarding application, at first I applied a thick layer of the mask but realized over time that this was unnecessary for a good result. I now apply a thin coat, twice a week. Skin looks beautiful. I'm very happy with this product, and the Blue Lagoon line, in general ✨

The product itself is 5 stars. Im a bit upset that the size was not posted and i assumed it would be the same size as the silica mask and the lava scrub...but no its only 75ml. This is upsetting because this was the best mask at the blue lagoon. They didnt post size. Wish it was 100ml, anyways just know that this is a smaller tube so you will have to use sparingly unless you are a baller.

My son got me this and the Silica Mud Mask as a set, he is in the military and he and some shipmates spent a couple of days at the spa (they paid, not the military). I use this more than the Silica Mask. It makes my pores so small and my face is so soft after a treatment. You do not need much, I use a thin layer on my face and leave it for 30 minutes, then wash off.

I am using the mask twice a week. One day I apply the Silica first then the Algae, the second day the Lava scrub and then the Algae. I like the results, my face skin is softer and smoother. I have been using it since the beginning of March and in only one month the difference is visible. I am planning of may be reducing the application to once a week and alternate due to the cost but definitely I love their products and I am planning to keep using them. I am a mature woman with a normal skin type, with no big skin problems or allergies just showing the inevitable signs of age.
