I bought these because it said Sterling SILVER . They are NOT . I can tell you that they have nickel in them . I am highly allergic to nickel and my ears broke out after wearing these for a day . It is unfortunate that they advertise sterling silver AND hypoallergic . Unfortunately, that is not true .
