These Stained Glass #paints were purchased to complete an art project/gifts I have been designing. I needed a paint that would show up from the backside of curved glass bubble frame and retain its color. The paint is easy to use and looks the way I wanted. It will be sometime before I know if the colors fade or not. Once the project is done I will come back and post a photo.

I love the sheer way it colors the glass. I'm creating panels to screen my hot tub area in the back yard out of broken glass shower doors. These are a work in progress for privacy, but it gave the most gorgeous look to the shattered glass images I'm creating.

The colors are actually quite translucent. That's what I was going for. Depending on the effect you want, you may need to change your application approach. I was going for the antique warbling effect. This is dollar store picture frame originally. Had to let dry over night and put it under an Led plant grow light to cure it enough to be handled. Unfortunately took pictures at night, Doesn't due justice, It looks 10x better with the sun shining through!

Many of the paints were dried out / clotted beyond repair. The paints that were usable were easy to spread and very transparent. I ordered this brand to use on a major front door window project due to evident supply chain issues for more reputable brands but now do not trust this brand and will wait for supply chain issues to resolve in order to purchase better quality.

I am working on an Indian traditional art called Tanjore painting. I purchased this painting to paint on top of the gold foils so that we get a glossy look or translucent of both this paint color and the gold. The product is amazing. I am able to achieve the look I wanted on the artwork. The paint also dries up quickly. The first layer is very light. To get dense color effect, we need to apply multiple layer. Or take big blob of paint. First time when I squeeze the paint in the pallet it was liquid. As time goes the paint thickens. This enabled me to get some depth needed for 3D effect. To clean the brush, wash with plain water. Also color mixing allowed to extend the palette without any hassle.

Colors look nice.

I had a rather unusual use for these. I'm building a space craft model and I wanted translucent colors for the control panel buttons that are back-lighted. These worked out perfectly on the polystyrene substrate and the LED back lights.

This paint worked very well on my glass project. Needed more than one coating, but if you let it dry in between coats, it works very well and looks very nice. Takes a bit for paint to wash off hands, but it does wash off after a couple of hand washings.
