I love his music. It brings memories of my dad and his brothers playing.

It is a good value. I like hearing the first 4 albums he made. The second album with Last Date, also has several other songs with the slip finger technique he was noted for on it. I really like the nostalgia of having these first four recordings. I learned from the info that came with the CD's that Floyd Cramer passed away at a somewhat young age from cancer. I have always liked his style with the slip finger technique.

I was looking for piano only by Floyd Cramer not piano and other instruments. There are only a few songs that are piano only on this CD. I was looking for his “Greatest Country Hits” but could not find it. I broke my only copy and I mIss it.

Beautiful Beautiful Music

This has to be one of if not the best Floyd Cramer compilation. Some of the selections are exactly as I remember them and the ones I haven't heard before were a pleasant surprize. Wow! what a superb exponent of the piano. I recommend this CD to anyone who loves listening to popular piano. The only negative was that the CD jewel case was damaged on receipt resulting in CD 2 being scratched. Fortunately this did not affect the reproduction. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you Amazon.

This is a four-album collection. A few of the songs contained therein are mediocre. Some songs are duplicates of what I had purchased earlier. However, most of the music in this collection is EXCELLENT and well worth the purchase price. Floyd Cramer is one of my all-time favorite performers.

What I expected from cd.

As this is a compilation of four albums, it is easier to review each album at a time :-1) HELLO BLUES - When I heard this I felt that I was listening to an orchestral album, with an occasional featured pianist. This did not reveal Floyd at his best with the exception of one track, "Have I Stayed away Too Long". For this I gave 2/52) LAST DATE - More like the Floyd Cramer we learn to expect. "Last Date", "Moments To Remember", "Tennessee Waltz" and "Flip Flop And Bop" 4/53) ON THE REBOUND - This IS the Floyd Cramer we expect to hear. "On The Rebound", "Wonderland By Night", "Faded Love", "Let It Be Me", "Corinna, Corinna", "Tammy" and "San Antonio Rose", all standout tracks. 5/54) AMERICAS BIGGEST SELLING PIANIST - More of the same. Mr Slip-note has finally arrived. "You Win Again", "Hang On", "Are You Sincere" and the beautiful "The Tide And The Sea", all feature. 5/5Overall we can see the development of one of the greatest piano sounds of our age (I rate Russ Conway and Winifred Atwell in that same bracket). 17 years later, along with Lloyd Green and the Jordanaires he played on a Nashville album with Vera Lynn!!

Absolutely Beautiful. Play it again Floyd! This music is for the cultured person who appreciates good music. It is very relaxing and Floyd certainly knows how to make the piano 'sing!' His piano playing is filled with emotion and you can 'feel the vibes' forgive the pun! For us, he is by far the best pianist player in Country music, second to none, for us! I have been a fan of Floyd's for many years and when I saw this album I just had to buy it. Not only was a great pianist but an innovater on the keyboard. This CD is a sit and listen to or to play in the background. Whatever your taste in music particularly piano music this a must for everyones collection.

A nice collection of timeless country stars from decades ago,an opportunity to get your hands on these albums on CD format,in case your vinyls are too worn-out or simply,maybe you missed the chance of purchasing the originals.

i have loved Floyd's playing style since our first date in 1960 and then discovered that he is ever country album that used a pianist. Nothing better than Floyd, Chet and Boots.
