Throttle Lock? Cruise Control? Whatever!
Worth the money I spent! I took my time and put this on my bike. Because it is a universal throttle lock, you do have to make it fit your bike. I ended up sawing 1/3 of the spacer to install it and it fits perfectly. I used it last night on a quick 50 mile ride and t worked great! I had one of these on my last bike and it helped out a lot with being able to stretch your hands out on a long ride and getting rid of some of the numbness from gripping too tight. Definitely would buy again or for a friend.

Good for short term speed bad for long term cruise control
It’s good for its price if all you need is a cheap throttle lock to be able to travel farther distances without your hand cramping. It’s perfectly acceptable. The only reason I gave it three stars is because if you plan on using this as long-term cruise control, it does not work. You will slowly lose throttle overtime, even at its tightest setting with the smallest rubber collar to make sure that it stays in place the grip could not keep the throttle completely locked in place if you want something that’s actually true cruise control. Spend the extra money to get a better product.

Handlebar clamp is useless.
Installed on 1" bars. Throttle side worked well but is useless because the little brass blind nuts on the handle bar side. They will not tighten up enough to hold in place. Those little brass insert nuts just pulled completely through the plastic. I'd snug them up then they'd get loose. Snug them up, get loose. I guess I'll try to find longer bolts with a washer and nylon lock nut before I throw it away.....

For the price, this locks your throttle...
First of all, this is a very efficient throttle lock for the money. I've had throttle locks in the past (waaayyy in the past, mid 80's) and this is definitely a better mechanism. The instructions are... well... not really helpful. Lots of pictures showing you the parts, but this ain't your paint by numbers kit! It's a pretty straightforward process. On my Himalayan, I had to move the mirror/brake reservoir assembly a bit to create space for the support bracket. 7/8" handlebar spacers work just fine.Construction: Built well and it should last. The moveable parts are going to be hard to wear out.Function: I've got the three Allen screws in tight to put the collar on the handlebar grip, and I've got the spring tension set so I get the throttle to snap back to "zero throttle" once I thumb the lock to "off". When locked, there is a little throttle creep that will reduce rpm's before it settles to "locked". I may tweak the spring tension a little more and see if I can get it to hold immediately, and release just as quickly.Price: Hard to beat for what you get.Instructions: It's more of a general guide, but it's not hard to figure out once you've read it. Just make sure you put the thumb lock screw through the "eye" of the screw the spring goes through (my "aha!" moment). If you ever ride constantly between gas stops, your right wrist will appreciate this throttle lock.

won't work with the contained kill switch body and throttle body. Just too large.
Not meant to fit on a honda goldwing 1500 handle bar with the kill switch all contained with the throttle. More room is needed.

The companies customer service is great the product not so much
It doesn’t really fit well on my handlebars in the shims it gives you don’t give you a good range they give you the very small and the very large end and then the item itself gives you the largest end but it just doesn’t seem to fit very well I will say customer service from the company is very good. They are prompted to respond to messages through Amazon and they are quick to resolve issues in a customer minded way

It needs to be secured better
It moves around a bit to much and seems to me the inner rubber isn't grippy enough. It loosens up a bit and it's not working great. I'm sure more adjustments will help it, but it's a lot of work to set it well.
