All I can say is wow! This mattress is genius! Our little one falls right to sleep on it and she stays asleep. This mattress has made it so that I've been able to keep my sanity. I love it and she loves it. Everyone wins! I also love that it's waterproof just in case any accidents happen. I would recommend this to all parents.

The battery doesn’t last more than a week. The button to turn on vibration stopped working after a month. Not worth it.

Our baby is sleeping "like a baby" with this vibrating mattress. I have to preface this by saying the little one is almost one but we are still clinging on to the swing, reluctant to donate it. It is the one thing that will get him to sleep on his roughest days when he is super fussy and nothing will calm or get him to sleep. He is not over the weight limit (not even close) so it is safe for him to be on it, plus we watch him like a hawk on the baby monitor. I was excited to see a vibrating mattress because I figured if the vibration of the swing helps put him to sleep, a vibrating mattress would surely work in the same way. I am glad we gave this a try because he has been sleeping much better the past few days. He has been quite fussy lately but the night we installed the mattress he slept for hours without waking up halfway and crying like he usually does. I don't know if this mattress is what did it for us or he's tired from fussing for a few days in a row but so far this is working the way we hoped. The vibration seems to have a calming effect on my baby. I should have known because he definitely spent more time that he should on his swing, and now hopefully, this mattress. We try to have this on in 45 minute intervals, and kept it going for him. We're still trying to test out the sweet spot in terms of how long to have this going for without upsetting and waking him up. This mattress is comfortable, good quality and well made. This is our first Contours mattress but we have been very pleasantly surprised and happy with the quality.Make sure you put the batteries and set everything up properly before putting the bed sheets and onto the crib. Get D cell batteries before this arrives at the house so you can get it started right away. Batteries can get really expensive (and bad for the environment) so I would also recommend getting several rechargeable ones so you'll always have a few extra on hand for when the juice is gone.So far we think this is a great mattress for baby. We were just about to get a baby mattress but would have never known there is a vibrating one, so I'm glad we stumbled upon this on by Contours. We are going to keep trying this out and if there is anything else we find, I will be sure to update this review.

Well I wasn’t using this immediately in my sons crib since I had to install batteries (3 D batteries - not included). The remote that it comes with is hidden in that compartment - which initially was a pain to remove I had to turn the mattress over to pull it out after I unscrewed it.The mattress is rather heavy too. Not cheap or lightweight.It’s fabric woven on both sides - zero waterproof properties. I wish it was waterproof so if you’re forking out the cash for this bad boy I recommend to invest in a waterproof crib mattress protector to protect your investment.Now this will be one of those things where every child is different. The bed vibrates and your child may be a fan or may not. It’s hard to gauge such thing or to really give this a fair rating.My son seems to be ok with it, but not sure if he falls asleep soundly. He was fidgeting a lot with it on. I ended up turning it off eventually.Think it’s a neat concept, but with a steep price.

My baby is close to 1 years old and still doesn't sleep through the night every night. While I don't mind her waking up it is really tough on me because while it only takes her a few minutes to fall back asleep it takes me a lot longer. Once I have to get up, pick her up or pat her to put her back down I am wide awake and then up for another 30 minutes to an hour. This mattress has been a life saver. All I have to do is wake up enough to press the button on the remote of even have my husband press the button. I can fall back to sleep quickly and so can she. More sleep for a mom of 3 is priceless.The mattress itself is waterproof which as you know is ideal for a baby. I love the controls are both on the side for easy access through crib rails and has a remote so that you can access from across the room if need be. The mattress can be spot cleaned easily which is great. My only issue like most baby things with a vibrate feature is that it runs through batteries really quickly. However for the piece of mind of getting more sleep I would by a million batteries if need be.

Meet the battery destroyer. This thing goes through batteries UNBELIEVABLY fast. I changed them out twice in as many weeks. I bought it because, for what seems like a short period of time in hindsight, my son would only sleep in the vibrating swing. The mattress vibrations did not help him adjust to the crib at all, not even a little bit. I still use the mattress, but gave up on the vibrations almost immediately. Now its just a mattress. I would not recommend this - even if you feel like vibrations are neccesary for your little one to sleep.
