Is this gentle remover or for Waterproof eye products removal?

I use them to remove my mascara, which is not waterproof. It's a little bit irritating, so I always wash my whole face afterwards. The pads work great to remove mascara. I've been using them for years.

Is this product Ophthalmologist-approved?

Yes, I used it for many years with contacts and it was fine! Just don't get the oily ones.
