Guayusa is a rare tea from the . It's light, refreshing, and revitalizing. Since guayusa has more caffeine and polyphenols than most teas, you get a boost of mental clarity and focus. That's why ian communities have been drinking it for centuries to feel RUNA - meaning Fully Alive.

A GREAT product that has lost quality control as they have changed ownership?
These 2 stars are misleading because I am perhaps the biggest Runa fan on the planet. I have been drinking it every morning for the past 4 years and have probably consumed over 1000 iced teas from this company. The company even gave me free t-shirts for being such an avid customer. So suffice it to say I love the product and am VERY familiar with it. That is why my last shipment from Amazon was so bizarre. Each bottle was VERY "off." The taste, which I know better than the back of my hand, was horrific in this shipment. It has a horrible chemical taste to it that was so incredibly different than I have become used to. After cracking open 6 different bottles and tasting the same, nasty taste, I thought it might be my own taste buds that were failing. So I went to the local natural foods store and bought a bottle from them, and lo and behold, the old (very delicious) taste was back. So it was indeed this shipment that was contaminated. And the taste of this latest shipment really is just ghastly: the chemical taste is undrinkable.I feel a little bad dinging my favorite drink with 2 stars, but I have also sent 8 emails to Runa, using the email address they suggest on their website (and I have used ALL of the various emails on their website -- the sales email, the customer service email, the press email) and have not received a single response. It's very strange. Anyway, proceed with caution -- and again, this comes from a huge fan. I will say this: the gross bottles were plastic bottles, and the one I got from my local store that was delicious was a glass bottle, so that's one theory. However, I have had MANY of the plastic bottles in the past and they were fine, so that doesn't seem to be the issue.

High hopes
I have become a huge fan of Runa mint honesuckle unsweet tea. I buy the glass bottle when I go to our local health food store. They can't keep it on the shelf. So I ordered a pack from amazon. I was skeptical when I saw the plastic bottles, but I refrigerated it for later. I was VERY disappointed to find that lovely hint of honeysuckle mint was overshadowed by stale sour tea. I will not be ordering again. Not the same fresh product from the store.

Great Tea ( Unsweetened )
First off this tea is great I wish I could buy it in a 1 gallon glass jug. Since I gave up sugar completely I avoid it all cost. This is Unsweetened which I like. As for the flavor it's more mint than honeysuckle. If you like me an avoiding sugar, an you like ice tea give this a try.My only complaint is these are plastic bottles, not glass like when the product was first launched. Go back to glass an decrease the plastic waste!

Best Iced Tea Ever!
As someone who loves iced tea, but not the added sugar and artificial ingredients of most of the conventional brands, this is the perfect tea for me. I've been a fan of this brand since discovering it, and also drink their sparkling energy drinks. The mint honeysuckle flavor is refreshing and light, and the caffeine gives you a nice boost. I also like that this brand is environmentally and fair trade conscious, highly recommend!

Plastic bottles..Say whut???
Love this tea but was disappointed in the plastic bottles. What's up with that?!? I've been buying this tea at a local store for quite a while now and it's only in glass bottles. Makes me wonder if this is the legit product. Decided to give it a buy from Amazon and save my trip to the store. I've cut out as much plastic use as possible. If this is the only way Amazon sells it I'll go back to my store buy.

Chemical taste in plastic bottles
I read other Runa tea drinkers complaints regarding Runa’s switch from glass bottles to plastic and I 100% agree!! There’s a nasty aftertaste in the plastic bottles that tastes like warm gin left out in the heat. As soon as I tasted it I knew something was off from the delicious taste of glass bottle Runa. I will no longer be drinking Runa if they continue to make them in plastic bottles. I drink 1 Runa tea bottle a day and now I’ll have to look elsewhere unfortunately unless I can find Runa glass bottles.

Switching my tea brand to Runa
Never going back to the artificial brands after drinking Runa. This flavor and the Guava are awesome! Once caveat is I think it is helpful to actually enjoy the taste of unsweetened or lightly sweetened tea to like this brand. If you live and die for Snapple this will be a tough transition, though your body may be happy with the switch....great caffeine boost too.

Super refreshing tea but no added "focus"
Love this yummy, fresh tasting tea. Not too sweet but just right. If you love mint tea and honey, this is the refreshing tea for you. However, it's not necessarily everybody's "cup of tea," (pun intended;) Everyone's tastes are different and for that reason, I guess, that's why my hubby found it to taste a bit odd. He's not a huge mint tea fan, though, like me, so maybe that's why. I also didn't notice any more clarity or "focus" as the label promises but the taste makes up for that, as far as I'm concerned so that's why I rated it 5 stars.
