does this material heat up?

If you mean heat up in a similar way that memory foam does, then no. It is definitely cooler than memory foam, but as you have your head on it for a while, it does get warm where your head is as you'd expect. It doesn't actively cool, but is breathable and cooler than fibre or memory foam pillows. If you like cool, flip it over, the other side is always cool. Unlike a memory foam pillow, it maintains it's shape, and bounces straight back to the original shape once you raise your head. It is very firm, which I found odd at first (compared to previous soft shredded memory foam pillow), but after a few nights of getting used to it, it is much more comfortable.

Is this made with 100% natural latex? If so, what type: Dunlop or Talalay?

This is Dunlop latex. I had looked for Dunlopillo pillows which I have been using for years and these are every bit as good but slightly bigger.

why does it only weigh 300gms if its latex?
